Live In '95

Bowie at his zenith
I don't quite know what to make of the contradictory reviews on this product other than there must have been a production issue at some point. As far as I'm concerned this collaboration is cheap at twice the price. The sound quality is excellent and you get additional songs that were unavailable in previously released versions of the same concerts.

Technical glitches / false advertising
I seriously doubt that this set is "remastered." There are a lot of skips in the recordings, making it highly unlistenable. The last disc is likely NOT from a broadcast or soundboard - sounds like an average audience recording. Avoid!

Good but Bad
Having a physical copy of two of my favorite artists performing together is amazing (in theory). It conjures memories of watching Bowie and Reznor on stage way back then. Side one is listenable. It's not the best (I would be surprised if it was ripped from the soundboard). Side two is miserable. It sounds like someone recorded it on their mini recorder under their jacket so they wouldn't get busted by security for pirating the concert and selling it with bootleg t-shirts after the show in the parking lot. Add the pops and hisses to the recording, the flat sound of the picture disk, and the fading back and forth between stereo sound and mono, I have to say, that I should have kept the memories and passed on the vinyl. That, and who designed the album art? Atrocious at best.
