Firstly, my cat loves the taste. The packet says only two treats a day based on the amount of lysine so that's what we stick to, though he'd happily eat quite a few!As my cat is a very old boy, he has rubbish teeth, and I have to break the chews down into smaller bits so he struggles less with them. They're fairly malleable and break into 3 chunks about the size of an M&M quite easily.I tried these as he had a bout of cat flu a couple of years ago and seemed to be suffering from it again, including a bout of conjunctivitis and a snotty nose. I thought it would be worth a punt on some lysine supplements before putting him through the horror of a visit to the vets during covidmania. He hasn't been outside for a few weeks as it's so cold and he's just a little old man, and sitting in a car park waiting for our 5 minutes only to be told the inevitable "we can't diagnose him until he's had £100 of blood tests" before being sold Metacam and a vitamin jab didn't appeal.I'd read online that viral conjunctivitis usually clears in about 2 weeks, and he's about rid of it after 10 days, 5 of which have been on two lysine treats a day. I also got some Nose Relief to help with his sneezing and that's stopped now.It's entirely possible that the flu has just run it's course as normal and the lysine actually hasn't made any difference, but since he likes the taste I will continue to feed them to him.

I am not sure what the story is with these chews as I have bought these for years for my two cats who have Calicivirus to help their immune system. They love the taste and always enjoy them. However, this packet was totally different to any I have bought before. The chews are normally reasonably soft which means a cat can chew them and you can also pull it apart into two or more pieces for smaller animals.These ones are rock-hard, crumbly when seperated and thank God I watched my cat on the first one I gave as a full chew as he was starting to choke on it! Obviously it had gone to the back of his throat. Thank God he got it down and was okay. The best by date seems fine so I am unsure if these are a bad batch or what. I am still using them as I cannot for the life of me contact this seller for a refund despite trying.But please be aware if you DO get a packet where they are hard and crumble when pulled apart PLEASE break into 2-3 pieces for your cat to be super safe. I won't be getting these from this seller again but the product when it's in good shape is excellent.

Expensive product and the cats won't eat them so obviously don't taste niceGot the Lysine gel and that works a treat in food.

I use these for my cats watery eyes which he has from a kitten due to neglect. They have helped a lot with that and his coat is always glossy and I notice he sneezes less.

This is by far the best deal I have found for any product coming close to this one. The size of the pieces is about the size of a crunchy greenie for cats. They are fairly easy to break in half for my picky little Tonk, otherwise my Abyssinian wolfs it down in one go.I have noticed that their spring sneezies have reduced quite a bit.. Less inflammation as well. There was no tummy upset with any of my crew. I must admit that my little Maine Coon Mix doesn't care for them, however, she is of a less delicate constitution than my boys!Fast shipping and a very good product overall. I am impressed. If the price remains reasonable as compared to other offerings on Amazon, I will continue to purchase and use happily.

Vet recommended the popular band of powder and none of my 3 cats would even touch it. Took a gamble with these chews and all 3 like them! I had to break them up into smaller pieces and then they were gobbled up. Hoping this helps with a bout of runny noses & sneezing we're currently going through. Good value too.

My cat loves the treats and the lysine has made a world of difference regarding her health ( chronic feline herpes). The lysine has literally helped her go from a pain filled existence to a playful, healthy cat. I believe all vets should prescribe lysine be given to their patient's cats.UPDATE 7-15-2015My cat continues to eat these readily and I have lowered her number of treats from 1500 mg (6 treats per day) of lysine to 1000 mg (4 treats per day). I go through a bag every two weeks or less so although somewhat expensive, her improved health is worth it. Cannot recommend highly enough - if your cat(s) have any type of sinus, ear or eye problems, try giving them these treats for a week and see if there is a difference.
