Primrose 55cm Earthenware Solar Powered Jug & Dish Cascade Water Feature with Battery Backup and LED Lights

Actually I like this garden feature very much but can't rate it more highly as, although it was correctly set up, is level on a slab etc etc it stopped working after 2 days! It can't be because we haven't had enough sun recently!! I've checked the filter( which is clear) and the solar panel is in the same place so that's not the problem. I would appreciate any ideas about how to rectify this problem as I really don't want to send it back. Thanks

The item arrived very well packed and with a set of instructions. It was quickly assembled and set out in the sun to charge - it's fairly intuitive as to how it goes together but it's worth reading the paperwork that comes with it.We're delighted with the appearance of the bowls, with a glazed finish they do look very nice. The metalwork is minimalist but works just fine.After a full day in the summer sun we had the feature running for around three hours with no problem and the LED light in the bottom bowl came on at dusk.I did put the batteries into a mains charger after a few hours in the sun the next day and they were almost fully charged. It seems the solar panel is quite efficient.There's plenty of cable so you can site the panel in a convenient place - it doesn't need to be close to the feature and could even go up high to catch the sun's rays.At the time of purchase I found similar examples at almost double the price and so this represents very good value. The one small thing that I think could improve the whole thing is packing the plastic tube rolled up instead of folded. The tube in this one was folded halfway along and still has the crease in it. It doesn't seem to have reduced the water flow a great deal but it certainly is a slight restriction.Very pleased with this purchase overall, hence 5 stars!

The box arrived quicker than expected and the water feature was well packed. I ordered the "dark red" which is nothing like it looks in the promotion photograph. In fact, the colour is more a brown than red and very dark (see picture). The lights do not appear to work on mine. The set up was made difficult, as one of the metal bolts would not fit into the metal frame hole to connect the circular ceramic bowl holder. The frame was dented and the bolt hole had been squashed. (See picture). I've improvised and managed to fix the bowl holder. I've kept it, as the packaging (polystyrene) had gotten damaged trying to get the stuff out of the box and didn't have anything suitable to return the item in. Having said all that, I like the feature, I just wish I could say that it was worth the money I paid for it.

Lovely product bit fiddly but probably my fault excellent product for the garden. Update the bottom bowl broke but what a company to deal with, asked them could they send me a replacement and they did swiftly without any charge. I had to leave a further review because it restored my faith in humanity it really did. What a wonderful company. Thank you

I’ve seen similar products from other manufacturers and suppliers, this version is of top quality and easy to put together. It’s easy to hide the pump with pebbles, and the hose is well hidden under the pots. There’s a lovely little light which can be submerged and looks great at night. Plenty of cable length to position solar panel elsewhere in the garden.

the bowls etc seem of good quality - the instructions are not however - plus the required hose to go from the pump to the top jug was missing - quite an important piece to miss out. After searching a bit harder, I did find the hose tucked inside the jug - because of this, the hose has a kink and prevents the water flowing.

I really like this water feature. It was easy to assemble and works very well. The reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because it certainly isn't red - the colour I ordered. It is black with brown highlights. I would have preferred the dark red which was illustrated, but I didn't hate it enough to want to go to the aggravation of sending it back. The pump works, the timer works, the light works and it is attractive.

The bowls do not fit the metal rings - they only perch precariously on them.The description led me to believe that the pump would work as long as the solar panel was in sunlight, not that the panel only charges the battery and the pump only then works for 3 hours.
