Great stuff to use.
Used this on some planters I made. Treated the timber and then primed with acrylic primer/blocker then two coats of this. It's quite thin so make the first coat count and don't brush it out too thinly. 2nd coat needs to be applied within 3 hours of the 1st so leave yourself time and check the weather. Covers well and gives a nice finish.

Great for everything in the garden. Loads of colours
I love these garden shades paints. They have a brilliant assortment of colours. I've painted all the garden furniture, the summer house, the shed, a small wooden up-stand that holds the gravel in the flower bed and a small table. I've been using these for years and I didn't fully understand about coat timings that it recommends on the tin and wondered why I struggled with a second coat, it separated like it didn't want to go on. The reason was that I left it too long between coats and the paint cures and once it forms a waterproof barrier its more difficult to paint. Best to get the second coat on as soon as first is dryish, it works so much better. The picture of the green summer house is actually a summerhouse we inherited with the house. It is very old and a bit rotten and it was ginger colour, like a lot of garden things. It has totally transformed it and everyone thought it was a new summerhouse. The paint was delivered in a strong box with a metal clip holding the lid on and in a plastic bag, quite impressive. I will buy this from Amazon again as it was the best price too.I have used lots of colour but at the moment its Old English Green, Natural Stone and Urban Grey. The paint is a bit like a satin after a couple of coats on smooth wood and matt on rough wood, unless you do lots of coats ans it goes smoother and more satin. The last picture is a quick one coat on rough trellis.I would like to add that the paint is quite runny but I think this makes it go into the woodgrain easier. If the wood is smooth it looks a bit like a wash on the first coat but is a good colour on the second coat. I also try and always paint when standing on the grass so it doesn't matter if it drips. If fact I just slap it on, the grass doesn't mind a bit.
