Obviously they look great, and all kids want them, and they do a reasonable job...However, the hinge design is poor. I have seen other people commenting that the hinge has been changed in more recent models and it used to be better. Certainly we have had problems that, even without having too much inside the case, the hinge keeps popping apart. It's an easy fix, you just need to realign the plastic, but it is annoying on a plane or in the queue for check-in (I'm saying this from experience). In essence if you fill it so that a small amount of pressure is required to shut the case, this is transferred to the hinge and it comes apart. We did not have the Trunki full, but wanted to fit in our son's blanket. It is obviously bulky, but compressible, and would easily fit. However, the hinges kept popping. On the return journey we packed differently and had less again in the Trunki, but we bought it for easy access to toys and books, so the more that could be there the better.Overall our son still loves it, and I still think it's a good product. It is a slight disappointment and feel everyone should keep it in mind before purchasing.

Love the style as I bought this for my son as my eldest two girls love their ladybird and bumble bee trunkis. However quality doesn't appear to be as good as the old model. I was disappointed that they seem to have tweaked the design slightly - the clips on the sides aren't as easy to undo as you need to push them in to undo rather than the old pull hinge clip. The hinges also different in design and pop out more easily if the trunki is full when trying to close it.Also when my eldest daughter sat on it in the hot weather the black pattern on the top rubbed off and came off on her legs, and the print is now smudged on top from the first holiday with it :(

Great bundle and good value. Our only comment to reduce the stars are the Trunki handles, although sturdy, are attached by a very weak thin piece of plastic and one broke immediately after our first trip.The only design flaw, I would say! We were able to continue to use it with the shoulder strap but it wasn't helpful for us for this to break so soon after travelling. Otherwise, excellent.

Having bought one of these sets two years ago for his big brother, I was delighted to find that the offer price was available again. As it’s a Christmas gift, he won’t have used it yet, but I’m sure it will be of the same quality as the first one. As the children are both keen water babies, the Paddle Pak will get a lot of use!

We bought this a few years ago but forgot to give a review. Since then, this product has traveled to a few dozen places and also played with at home. After years of use, the luggage has remained in excellent condition and only the wheels have shown signs of use from constant dragging during our travels.I have recommended this to family and friends who have small kids or planning to have kids as this was very handy for us specially when skipped bringing a stroller everywhere (it can support a small and not so small child who can already sit and hold on to the luggage).

the suitcase is very low quality, the strap came off, very difficult to close and open we used it once and never since then, the backpack is better but the top part doesnt fit very well my son hates it

Great package deal at a great price (deal of the day £32) - Trunki appears well made and no issues as yet - although yet to take on holiday so at the moment our only moan is that they don't make them for adults...They come with a 5yr warranty so that alleviates any concerns going forward - as long as you remember to register(!)

My son love this .. it's been his favourite 😊. And we never forget it while travelling abroad. It's very useful during long walks at airport. He does not need to walk but sit on this and take a ride 😃
