Gullon Sugar Free Choc Chip Cookies 125gm

A B S O L U T E L Y D E L I C I O U S. I've just ordered another 7 packets so that one of them may ( hopefully ) survive long enough to be a treat on Xmas day. As a type 2 diabetic I have to monitor what I consume fairly rigorously. I honestly never had a sweet tooth until I contracted diabetes which has always confused me as to how I got it in the first place ( nasty preservatives in processed food methinks ). Now I have the ailment, and the altered metabolism due to it, I like to have something that tastes sweet now and again. I never, throughout my life, liked biscuits but I do like these. Odd I know, but I can recommend this alternative to chocolate chip cookies, only these are not saturated in sugar but a diabetic-friendly sweetener. Gawd knows what's happened to my taste buds, I might end up actually liking asparagus next too, though in their case I cannot work out how anyone can eat something that smells like a boiled sock after being cooked. I think that the Gullon range of biscuits is probably the best tasting of all of the sugar free biscuits that are available. Also, they don't seem to contain the artificial sweeteners that cause digestive problems, so there aren't any unpleasant after-effects. I've found these particular cookies to be the closest to normal chocolate chip cookies, although they are small and expensive. However I've given them 5 stars because I really like them and they really do satisfy my "sweet" cravings and my need to eat biscuits! Worth the cost, but buy a few packets at a time to save on postage.

Since being diagnosed borderline diabetic and having a very sweet tooth , my dad was over the moon with the selection of choice of biscuits available , will definitely recommend and will be buying again.

Got these for my brother's birthday who's a diabetic. They didn't last long, so I think he loved them! Normally make him cakes but this was the first set of diabetic cookies I have seen. Made a nice change. Received quickly and well packaged. Thanks.

A real "chocolate hit" A bit pricey (the same product in Spain is a third less of the cost) but as a diabetic this product is great for me.I would recommend the seller and the product.

It's difficult to find food that has little or no sugar in it,when you are a diabetic,and especially if you have a sweet tooth. These biscuits fit the bill,and eaten sensibly,i.e liitle and not often one finds them very good. Recommended.

These were a present for a recently diagnosed Type 2 diabetic and another Type 1 diabetic. They absolutely loved them. They were packed really well and had no breakages. I would recommend this company, they were a pleasure to deal with.
