Last summer we were plagued in our home by tiny gnats, little flies that lay eggs in soil. We brought plants in from our greenhouse when the weather started turning colder, seems we also brought in many unwanted guests. Our home was swarming with these tiny little flies. We used sand on top of the soil to prevent the flies accessing the soil (helped) we laid out saucers with apple cider vinegar to attract the flies, then hoovered them up from the saucers. (Helped), we still have an issue, but now much reduced, we hung up a couple sheets of this double sided sticky card up last night, and the results this morning were clearly visible, about twenty little flies stuck to both sides of the card. These seem a useful addition to our continued endeavour to rid our home of these little unwanted guests, happy with the purchase.

Firstly, if you hang one from a light, you will probably catch any flies in the house within 30 mins. They are well packed and easy to use, you don't get stuck to them! Flys don't get off them, so you can leave them up for as long as you wish. Just be careful when disposing of them. When you put them up, there is plastic backing that you can remove when they are hung up but when you take them down they can stick to anything and of course you have flies stuck to them. Even getting one into a black sack is an art because they will stick to the bag. But I like them.

This product is fantastic! I was initially sceptical as some of the reviews had stated that the product wasn’t sticky enough but unless they were planning on sticking a double decker bus to it I cannot see for one second how this product didn’t meet their expectations. A number of wasps and large flies got stuck to mine so, to eradicate the small gnats from my household plants, the product was definitely sticky enough. Plus, the sheets are bigger than I was expecting, so I cut some of them down and stuck them onto cocktail sticks in the soil. This product will last you a long time! Great value for money, immense sticking power!

Does the job. This is great stuff, you can trim it to the size you want and looks a lot better than the traditional fly paper. I cut small pieces, stuck them on lolly sticks and put them in my plant pots which cleared up all the small midges that seemed to be hanging out in the soil.

I used these in the greenhouse. It was full of flies for some reason. I put six of these up high in the greenhouse. On about four weeks they have caught 120 large flies, along with some wasps. There are also hundreds of whitefly stuck to the, and about fifty fruit flies. These are the most effective fly traps ever. I have been using them for about eight years. The real benefit of this method of dealing with flies is that there are no chemicals involved, no nasty smells and they are too high up for children to mess about with.
