I ordered this before being aware that nearly every Starbucks around me was apparently out of matcha, I just got a taste for it and wanted to save some money making it at home. I feel like from what I’ve seen it’s a good price for the amount, especially if you’re not being excessive with your serving size. It’s definitely a little saving grace in a pinch, like say, a matcha shortage at the biggest coffee shop chain you can think of.

I put it in my green smoothie every morning.

I love Starbucks green tea frappuccinos so much that I wanted to start having them at home, so I bought this matcha to try it out. Below is my recipe I've been using to make a magical frothy iced matcha drink at home. I tried with honey first, and it wasn't great. Then since Starbucks' matcha kind of tastes like melon to me, I bought some melon syrup to use--which ended up tasting terrible. But the vanilla is EXACTLY the correct flavor, and it somehow adds to the matcha flavor to give a melon-y vibe. Highly recommend this stuff! I go through it very quickly (it is in a very small bag).1 1/2 tsp. matcha powder (sometimes I'll use 2 tsp. if I'm needing an extra boost)2 tsp. granulated sugarsplash of pure vanilla8 oz. milka couple of ice cubes, and blend it up for pure deliciousness!

i liked the flavor but disliked the amount inside of the bag,more air and less powder for that price

I like adding a dash of matcha to myCereal and cottage cheese. This size package is perfect last more then a month, but less than the 6 months suggested open time.

To be honest, I had not tasted a lot of different matcha teas so I am no expert. However, I was concerned about the quality and what the difference between ceremonial grade and kitchen grade meant. I saw someone else's review who had more experience with tasting different varieties and went by her word that it was good. I was not disappointed. I make a regular green tea with a regular green tea bag, pour 1/4 cup of almond milk in after it has steeped, add 1 tsp of matcha and 1 tsp agave and pulse it on my ninja blender. It comes out a little frothy at the top, which I love. It's very smooth. It mixes well in hot tea by itself, but not as smooth, unless you blend it. This is my afternoon drink. When I need to do homework and stay awake and not get a stomach ache from coffee, this is my go to drink! When I do a protein shake for meal replacement on days that I don't have time to eat lunch, I put a tsp of matcha in my protein shake and you don't even taste it, but you definitely feel the caffeine... no jittery feeling, just more awake and focused. I purchased it again in the bulk portion, but when it arrived, I carefully transferred it to a mason jar. Love it!

Very strong matcha flavor, good for baking. I only used 5g to bake a cake and the matcha flavor is very strong, strongly recommended
