Baby Einstein Octopus Orchestra Toy

The melodies are lovely and we like turtles but that is it.The toy is so rigid and not at all suitable for little hands.It is made of very hard plastic does nothing,cannot move by itself and no fantasy at all by maker when created other than the truly lovely melodies.The colour of the turtle as commented by a fellow reviewer is way too dark for a child's imagination but my makn complaint as said is the hard plastic.Why?

So great , the music is enjoyable and my seven month baby bounces in joy and rhythm when she easily activates the music buttons

I purchased this Baby Einstein toy for a friend's little boy's first birthday. He was absolutely delighted with it, and reacted to it differently than he had done to all his other presents. The sound of different instruments was especially intriguing to him, and he loved the flashing lights of different colours. Altogether an unqualified success!

Good, robust toy and my granddaughter loves it but we had trouble getting it to work at first as the batteries did not sit too firmly in the battery compartment. Took them out and wedged them in more firmly and it now appears to work even with all the tossing around by the baby..

Bought this for my 6 months old daughter, a little bit young but she loves it, dropped several times but remains intact, good toy and value.

Great sounds, shape and colors. Baby hasn't worked out hitting the yellow button in the middle makes it play a nice long tune yet!
