IOMI3 Pairs of Extra Wide Diabetic Socks for Swollen Legs in 2 Colours and 4 Sizes

I have bought a few packs of these socks in black and white. I only wish they did other colours as well. They are first rate. I have been in the laundry and dry cleaning business for 50 years, so I reckon I know about socks. I only wear mine once a day.Sometimes for half a day, as I also use them for gym training and change into another pair afterwards..You can wash them up to 60 degrees and put them in a dryer. They do not shrink or harden. They maintain their gentle elasticity after many many launderings. I have worn them in the winter cold and summer heat. I have worn them with my mountain boots and they are always comfortable. There is no wear and some I have worn for over six months and definitely no holes. They do exactly what they say. They are wide top and come half way up my calfs.They do not fall down. They do not dig in.For someone with big muscular legs they are ideal. I repeat I only wish they sold them in other colours. They are the best socks I have had in years.

Only had the socks a few days, but they are just what I wanted. I suffer from fluid retention in my legs and other socks leave great indentations around the top of the sock. These socks are very comfortable and when I take them off my legs are unmarked. Thoroughly recommend to everyone, whether they have diabetes (which I don't) or just want a very comfortable pair of socks.

I'm puzzled by so many obviously honest and well-meant reviews. I've bought dozens of socks claiming to be 'soft top' or 'elastic-free' or 'comfort grip' or 'medical' and without exception they've turned out to have what I'd call elastic and to leave grip rings on my ankles. (Most were cheap multi-packs from online sellers.) These socks are slightly better, but really no different. I can't quarrel with the technical description, but to me they still look and feel to have elastic tops albeit woven into a wider band, but tested 'in the hand' they still have the same 'spring' (I'd call it elasticity!) at the top. I'll spare you the pictures of my shapely ankles (!) but these socks DO leave pronounced grip marks ... and, honestly, my ankles are not excessively swollen. They are longer than most socks and the grip band is wider, but I'm left totally bewildered. Surely, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck? TO ME these look, feel and perform like elastic-topped socks - better designed yes, but not the answer I hoped for. Others have been luckier.

I buy these for an old gentleman. Although he is not Diabetic, he has swollen legs and ankles. He loves them, or rather his carers do as ordinary size socks just don't fit him. He takes size 12 shoes so even when well, ordinary socks were always too tight. I can recommend them. soem extra wide varieties have not lasted beyond a few washes but these are good and strong.

Was initially impressed with socks, great fit, warm & comfortable, since tearing my calf muscles acfew yrs ago one of my legs swells at the sock line, these socks were great to start but unfortunately they are not very hard wearing, all 3 pairs either laddered around the ankle or wore through on the toe line within 3 or 4 wears, I am a postman & they weren't up to the job, if you just want them to wear around the house or for light activity & sleeping in then I would recommend them

Bought as a Christmas stocking filler for my father-in-law who is diabetic & consequently suffers with swollen legs. Normal socks cut into his skin plus he finds it impossible to get them on unaided. He loves these socks. He can pull them on himself, they don't cut into his calves & they are so comfortable. Within days of wearing them, he was begging me to tell him where I got them. Cannot recommend these socks highly enough & we will definitely be ordering more of them.

First time purchase of this brand as previous maker I typically use no longer available.I normally get these types of socks to knee length but I knew these were shorter. When they first arrived, my immediate impression was that they would fall down after a few hours BUT they don’t and stay up all day.Having size 14 feet, I’m at the max limit size wise but would have liked them just slightly longer on the foot but no major complaints otherwise and would recommend.

I ordered these for my father who has very swollen feet. They fit very well and the tops do not cut into his legs. He finds them very comfortable. He is an 11 so I got the 11-14 they do fit well but with very swollen feet you may need to order a larger size. They wash well and have kept their shape so I am very happy and will be ordering more.
