Engaging and well written

Fantastic book. Written so well . Bought for my elderly mam and she loved it.

An excellent read - better read before " Pavarotti - My Own Story" but either way of good value and insight.

The anecdotes were good. Additional material sometimes hard going, but still a nice book for Pavarotti lovers to add to their bookshelves.

Excellent book

We knew Gian Carlo Menotti - my parents, my youngest brother & myself were his guests for the 1990 Spoleto Festival - went to a fabulous costumed Gone with the Wind party as well as three or four others every day for two weeks! I worked with a girl, Karen in the mid-80s who had been Sting's PA.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my father. Loves Pavarotti and has enjoyed this book very much which is well priced. Good service and prompt delivery. Good gift item.

A great glimpse into the life of this amazing opera singer, written I believe mostly in his own words. "My Story" is great as well, maybe even better as the reader learns about the history and the making of this great talent and a bit about opera as well. These books are great "fixes" for Pavarotti junkies. The only disappointment is lack of availability as kindle books but its very nice that Amazon sells hard copies for very reasonable prices--also better in paper or hard back for the pictures.

This will be a gift for my husband who frequently listens to the all encompassing robust voice of Luciano Pavarotti. Now my husband will have the opportunity to read Luciano's words; to "see" Pavarotti as a full fledged human being. Pavarotti's careerand family life are covered by the man himself. For those of us who still miss the man, this gift to the world, reading his auto-biography allows some moments to feel his presence.

An interesting story about a fascinating man. His music will live on for decades. How tragic that we lost this great talent. RIP dear Maestro.
