MerriwayBH00524 (5 Pcs) Chrome Plated Single Robe Hook - Pack of 5 Pieces

After getting fed up with the children slinging their coats, jackets and bags all over the place I decided we needed some additional coat hooks with my priority being simple, cheap and effective with these seeming to tick all the boxes.They arrived in a simple plastic bag with all the screws needed and only took about 5 mins to put them up, they are not fancy looking but after hanging multiple coats and children's bags with considerable weight they work perfectly so get 5 stars.

I bought these as a solution for getting dressing gowns out of the way and other things that can be hidden behind the door.The chrome plating looks very special and the quality is great. They are robust, very strong and easy to fit.I have included some pictures with a idea of how much weight they can easily hold.

Nicely finished and solid despite a faint casting line down the centre. The hook flares quite a bit front-to-back so there's only 25mm of hook space despite the accurately stated overall depth of 40mm. Loses a star for coming with the cheapest and nastiest countersunk slot-head screws I've ever encountered - only 6 out of 10 had usable threads and I didn't trust them to hold in anything without a wall plug - better to use your own.

Amazing quality, the surface is completely smooth, not even a faint line (as commented on by other buyers) - I assume this is a slightly newer product, because the hook end is not round and pointy like it is in the picture, but slightly more square and modern looking - I even prefer this! I cant believe how cheap this is for that quality! Put mine up on the back of the bathroom door.

I made the mistake of buying some of these with the intention of putting them on my kitchen wall to hang tea towels and hand towels. They are not suitable for this use. (They don't claim to be, but other customers might make the same mistake I did.)The main problem is that the screw holes are very close together. I do not think I could put holes in the wall large enough for wallplugs and close enough for the two screws without serious risk of the two holes coalescing and becoming unusable. A secondary problem is that, because of the shape of the hook, two screws placed through the holes point "inward", towards one another. If you drill holes perpendicularly into the wall, your screws will end up not flush with the countersinking. Finally, the screws provided are very short, much too short for attaching to a wall.This is all OK (I assume) if you're attaching the hooks to a wooden door or something of the kind. Short screws will be fine, you won't need drilled holes or wallplugs, because the screws are short they can go in at an angle without colliding. This is clearly the intended use, and for that they should be fine. But don't try to screw these to a wall.The overall quality isn't the best. That vertical "seam" you can see in the picture is present on all the hooks, and it doesn't look great.

Good quality product and value for money to boot.I used these for hanging my heavy motorbike gear on the back of a door. It’s good they come with screws as I was not even expecting this 😁👍🏻

Great little hooks, just what I needed and at a fantastic price - a lot cheaper than the big chain stores. Comes with short screws, and relatively easy to put up (I put them on wooden doors and also on wall/plasterboard). Longer screws might be needed depending on where you want to put them and how much weight they will hold, I have put two up to hold an ironing board on the wall and I'm not 100% sure the original screws will hold, but time will tell, and if anything happens I can simply replace the screws. They were a bit smaller than expected but it didn't cause any problems. A nice chrome finish too, however they do have a tiny forming line down the middle, so if you're thinking of putting them up somewhere that they're very visible this is something to be aware of. Great if you're looking for a few basic hooks.

Très satisfaite de ces patères. Je craignais qu'elles ne soient trop petites mais la taille est idéale et supporte bien le poids d'une grosse serviette de bain!

Conforme à la description, articles achetés pour être vissés sur une planche afin de réaliser un porte manteau : ils ont bien rempli leur rôle.

ce produit est vraiment très petit, la photo zoomée porte à confusionet les vis ne s'adaptent pas à une plinthe en boisj'ai retourné ce produit

Trop petit par rapport à ce que je m'attendais. Après les dimensions sont bonnes c'est uniquement moi qui ait mal géré mais les photos sont un peu trompeuses
