When my hubby's laptop lead stopped working we thought it would be an expensive £40 lead required (if going direct to manufacturer of laptop), only to find this one. Thought it would be too good to be true at this price and fast free delivery but it's a great lead, looks durable, no problems yet. Recommended to save £££s.Update: Hubby has had his for a few months now, absolutely no problems and it's so much longer than the original manufacturer lead it has really helped when working in odd places. My charger has now died too and I've followed suit by purchasing another of these. Charger died Saturday, got the replacement Sunday morning - perfect!

I have a HP X360, only used a handful of times as was still using my 5yr old one just because it had all the stuff on it I needed, decided about time I use my new one, plugged it in and found original charger had stopped charging, I was getting the msg ‘plugged in not charging’. Bought this and I’m pleased to say my 6mth old laptop is now being charged again. Very quick delivery, stays cool when charging. I’m really happy and seller provides a great overall shopping experience. 5 stars from me.

Not had this for long but I thought I would address a few points that have raised negative comments.I am using this with an HP laptop.It seems sturdy enough, not fragile.The connector fits well into the PC and isn't loose.It does get warmer than my HP original, but not hot. Having said that I think I would be careful not to bury in the duvet.

This item seems better made than the original item which was still under warranty but the manufacturer did not have the part available.

Not much to say about these. I purchased 2 on this occasion for users that had lost their own. I have had similar non-genuine products before, and these are pretty much the same as them.The quality seems fine, they charge the laptops as they should, and they don't seem to get any hotter than the genuine chargers.My users have no idea they are not genuine HP, and to be honest, I don't think they are bothered.I'll buy them again as required.

This works perfectly well in the laptop and all connections are good. Value for money is good, compares well to more expensive brands. The length of the lead works well for me. The charger does get very hot so care needs to be taken and I would recommend that it is not left on when unattended and would disconnect once the laptop is charged. Definitely need to take care if using in bed as could get caught in duvets etc. Have a similar thing with branded chargers so no difference there. Delivery was a bit of a nightmare so it did not arrive when expected. In the end the order had to be cancelled (refund will take a number of days to be re-credited) and re-ordered (account debited straight away). Second attempt was smoother although the item was delivered the next day to the local sorting office as it needed to be signed for despite me checking this would not be the case as no-one in that morning. The special delivery charge was waived. Still working after a few days so all good, laptop keeping charge.

I was in a panic when my laptop I've had for my laptop stopped working and more so as they discontinued my laptop and the original chargers over a year ago. I did my research and got this one as it seemed the right fit, looking exactly like my current one and I am relieved more than anything that not only is it the right fit, but it charges great too as if it was an actual HP charger.For those wondering, I have a HP model 15-au071sa laptop with 19.5V and 2.31A power. So if you have one too or a similar model where the original chargers have been discontinued, this is a perfect fit and charges it just like the original HP ones did to the same standard.Overall I am 100% satisfied with this product and would recommend it to others who are in need for a laptop charger for their HP Laptops.
