I have always wanted to grow fresh herbs for cooking and inevitably forget to take care of them when I plant them outside. This is great. It fits right in my kitchen and I see it every day to tend to it. In just 5 days I started to see little sprouts popping up. I didn't expect them to start growing so quickly. With the light timer, it is almost set and forget. I have been monitoring the water level and have only had to add a small amount in a week. I love that it comes with the plant food as this is not something I would usually think about and I think has made a huge difference. If you are looking for a simple easy system to start your kitchen herbs, this is it.

First of all it didn’t come with a pump, the is thin and cheaply made, the hydroponic container was flimsy. Their return policy is ludicrous, first you have to wait 5 days after your return request for a return label that you can’t even use, the post office wanted to charge $47.00 for the return of four hydroponic container!! Worst Amazon experience I’ve ever had!!! If I could post this without a rating I would give them zero stars.

This is absolutely wonderful to start my vegetables in. The only thing is that it gets algae because the window gets sunlight and the light. If you put something to cover it like cardboard, that’s what I do. I just lift it up and check it every day. It works out fine. I have two of them and since I close that window off, it’s been great.

This is very nice Hydroponics Growing System, Easy to setup, simple instruction. It will be a nice decorating item in your house. Since it provides the light itself, we can place it anywhere inside the house to add a touch of green to the room even in the winter.I place this Hydroponics Growing System on the divider between my living room and the kitchen, and will plan the pepper seeds and herb seeds into the grower tubes, and hope that I will have a mini green garden in next couple of weeks.

It's been about three months and the light started acting up a couple weeks ago, and won't turn on anymore. It was nice while it lasted but there are better ones for around the same price with a pump included and larger reservoir and wider lights. It's quite a bit thinner in real life than it looks like in the pictures (the lamp is very thin). It worked for growing dill and mustard spinach though. Like other reviewers said, it doesn't come with a pump. I used an aquarium pump and air stones to get around it but it wasn't really ideal.I took another look at the product picture and realized it's showing tomatoes growing out of lettuce and strawberry plants so I guess I'm not really surprised about the thinness and missing pump. It would be nice if it still worked though as I think it would have been nice for starting micro dwarf tomato cuttings.

I was so excited when my lemongrass seeds sprouted! I’ve never been able to really grow anything and was too afraid to try. But this system made it super simple!! No mess, compact, sleek design, and easy to assemble!

First, the light doesn't plug in correctly. When pushing the cord into the light, I have to leave it only half way plugged in. I know this sounds weird but when it's in all the way to make a good connection, it doesn't work at all.This does not have a constant water flow. You will need to change the water more often. If you don't change the water the roots won't get the air that it needs. The plants may not grow as well as they should when they get bigger. The leaves and plants may develop spots, turn color or start to change shape and curl.This is goof enough to start sprouts but not grow a full life cycle of and vegetable.

I purchased this in April 2023 and it totally stopped working in October. Wasn't happy that it did not have a pump and that was not clear in the description at the time of purchase like it is now, but said how bad could it be. It worked fine until around month 6 or 7 when the unit started leaking. Said fine since I could still use the lights with standalone pots. Well, the light started blinking on and off 3 days ago so now it is just a big paper weight. I own several different brand hydroponic units and have never had this many problems. Works fine when it was working and handled growing my jalapeno peppers and herbs. Liked the fact that the light could be raised more than with other units. You should not have to worry with the unit not working in under a year of constan use.
