3 Blades Heat Powered Stove Fan for Wood/Log Burner/Fireplace

Just moved to a house in the country that came with an indoor propane heater. I found that the heat would go straight up and not really distribute around the room. Well this little fan totally solves that issue. Can definitely feel the warm air being pushed forward. The fan blades spin very quickly. It produces a slight ambient hum but it doesn’t bother me at all. Also the metal bracket that it came with isn’t technically compatible with the type of heater I have, but I was able to mount it and as long as no one bumps into it, it should stay put. So pleased!

I purchased this model after seeing one in use on a friend's stove; very happy that it will engage at lower surface temperatures.Very prompt delivery/ arrived in it's original packaging without secondary (unnecessary) box.

Don't expect a stove fan to produce gale force winds and blow your furniture towards the center of the room but what I will say this fan circulates heat just fine off of my antique Perfection kerosene heaters. I'd recommend. Runs smooth and silent.

It actually circulates air around the room when the stove is hot. It’s subtle but helps. The fan blades were slightly bent but I straightened them and they look great now.

I got 2 of these to set on my Vermont Castings woodstove and this is their second year of use. The stove heats 1600 square feet to give you an idea of its size. My house has a great room and 2 bedrooms on the main floor, and then a loft and bedroom upstairs. Prior to using these little fans the heat would go straight up to the cathedral ceiling and heat the upstairs, but not evenly heat the livingroom, kitchen, and bedroom areas on the main floor. Aiming the fans on the woodstove in the directions that needed heat has made a huge difference in distributing heat. They circulate hot air so it’s not all going up to the ceiling. They are a smart, beautiful design and are silent when in operation. My stove has a top-loading feature, which I prefer to use when adding wood, and I place the fans out of the way of the top-loading door so I don’t have to move them each time wood is added. But they are so lightweight and easy to move, if you had to place them on the door itself it wouldn’t be hassle to move them each time. Well worth the money! Very happy I bought them!

Do they work? Yes. Do they blow air around? Kind of. They don't blow much air around but it is better than nothing. They come on when the top of the stove approaches 200 degrees F. If they stop spinning I know its time to add more wood. I also just think they are neat. Worth the price even if they only last a season or 2.

I use it in my van atop a small wood stove I purchased on Amazon. It gets hot in the van, so I needed something to move the air around. A word of caution, I don't recommend placing a wood stove in your van unless you do considerable research on the matter. Works great for me.

I have only used this product for a week, it seems like it is a decent product.

It spins yes, it’s quiet yes. But I feel like it doesn’t move much air, and the air isn’t even hot. Not much point buying IMO

I ordered 2 fans for my parents who prefer to heat with their wood burning fireplace. Since their fireplace insert doesn't have a built in fan they were losing a lot of heat up the chimney. They tell me the fans work great! There was a noticeable difference in the amount of heat they are getting from the fireplace making it much more efficient. They also commented about how quiet they are and don't require any hydro to run is a bonus! They highly recommend them.I also want to mention that BNI delivered the items for Amazon. I've ordered quite a bit through Amazon and had never heard of this delivery service, so I didn't know what to expect. The package shipped Feb 02 with an expected delivery date of Sunday Feb 07. I was kinda skeptical about this delivery date because my parents live in a remote area in the Parry Sound region. I was surprised when I checked the tracking on Saturday Feb 06 and it said it was out for delivery from Bracebridge Ontario. I had been talking to my parents and they were getting some really nasty weather (another foot of snow over Friday night). Amazingly, their package was delivered Saturday afternoon! The Courier Driver must have had to wait for the snow plow to go through first, there was that much snow. Thank you so much to that delivery driver who went above and beyond, much appreciated!!
