A little background....Back in November 2022 I found the Blink Home Security System for half-price at one of the big-box stores. It had 5 cameras and a doorbell. I installed it and was fairly impressed, but became a bit disillusioned with the response times. Most times whatever movement caused the camera to trigger was gone by the time the camera turned on. And the sensitivity was lacking. Couple that with the fact that if you increased the sensitivity you would get a warning that your battery life would suffer. Due to some neighborhood activity, I felt the need to add a camera to cover a part of the property that didn't have one. Again the camera didn't turn on until whatever triggered it was gone. I became very disillusioned with the Blink System.Which brings me to...I searched around Amazon and found this Viseefocu WiFi and Solar Camera for only $40!! I bought 3 and put them up in the front yard, replacing the Blinks in that area. I love the fact that I can increase the sensitivity and not have to worry about battery life, the solar charger is a big plus. And - I can mount them in places without having to worry about getting back up there to replace batteries.The first day with the cameras didn't go well. The VicoHome app was s-l-o-w....really slow. I was ready to return them. However the 2nd day it sped up, loading videos was fast, not immediate, maybe a 10-15-20 second wait, very acceptable. As I got used to the app I found I liked it just as well as the Blink app. The Lite version of the app is somewhat restricted, I activated the 30-day Plus version and got additional features that in my mind are better than Blink. Cost of the annual plan is less than Blink's as wellNight vision is great. And the built-in spotlights are another plus.I have the solar panels installed under the eaves of the house, not in direct sun. The reflection off the white paint allows them to charge the batteries as good as if they were in direct sunlight.I ordered additional cameras to replace the remaining Blinks.Video quality is excellent as is audio (unless the wind is blowing hard). I picked up someone driving by and yelling out their window, I clearly understood what they were saying. I haven't used it to actually communicate with anyone, there is a delay of 10-i15 seconds from what I've read in other reviews, but I have not confirmed it.I'm searching for a Doorbell Camera that works with the VicoHome app. Having battery power is ok since they're easily accessible. I have the Blink Doorbell Cameras on the current plan until it expires in several months, so not a big rush to replace them yet.3/28/23: Ok...so having the solar charging panels under the eaves kinda worked, but I found the battery voltage on each camera on each camera slowly going down. I created a few wooden extenders out of 4x4 wood - cut down to about 2.5" x 2.5" and mounted them under the eaves to get the panels fully in the sun. I also replaced the mounting screws with #8x3/4 hex-head screws. The philips-head mounting screws easily wore down when screwing into the eaves. I lightly drilled out the recesses on the mounting part to allow the hex-head to fit in the recess properly, I only took material off the sides of the recess where the head of the screw goes down, not drilled all the way through the hole. Hope that makes sense. Now the batteries are charging back up to full charge during the day.

I am very impressed with this camera. I have had cameras costing five times as much that can't come close. The picture quality is amazing. As you can see in the photos it has a good wide angle view and is clear for a long distance. I am very amaze at the distance the motion censor can reach. I get notifications every time a vehicle enters our road or a person walks down it. This is great as we have a drug dealer living down the road from us and traffic becomes extremely heavy a few times a month. We live in the middle of nowhere in a small community of right at 200. Our police officer is in with the drug dealers and thieves and that's the reason I needed better cameras. I can put the videos on my computer and expand them to get tag numbers of people going down to the drug house and give them to the Feds.At night it performs great as well. The lights can literally turn night into day. The alarm works great as well as the two way speaker.Solar panel works great with or without sun. The battery is always full.I get notifications sent to my phone every time the motion sensor is set off and I can see live video no matter where I am, even 300 miles away at my daughter's.We have had some extreme storms recently and a few days where the heat index reached 114. Neither reduced performance.As an ex police officer and security specialist I highly recommend this camera to everyone. Comes with everything you need for a fast and easy installation. It took me less than 15 minutes to set it up and installed. There is also a micro SD card slot. The app is easy to use and you can record and delete video any time you want.These cameras were well thought out when designed. You can't go wrong with these. I'm going to be ordering several more over the next month to cover my entire property. Two thumbs up to the manufacturer.

This solar security camera was exactly what I was looking for. A low cost with quality build. This thing is solid and does exactly what it is stated to do. Camera is bright and clear , motion detection is working as it should and at medium setting I get no false detection. At high motion detection I do get bird/squirrels setting it off because it reaches further, at medium it works very well for my situation. The view at night is very clear in b&w . I have not tried the color yet but will. Audio is unexpectedly pretty darn good also. The fact that I do not have to subscribe to a monthly fee unless I want the premium features is what sold me on this camera, all the other great things are a big bonus. The free program is just fine with me, it alerts when someone approaches the zone and records for the record. Ordered a second one which came overnight for the front door , need to install tomorrow, installation was a breeze and took about 10 minutes. Wifi signal is strong and has been connected constantly .......no problems there. If you are looking for barebones,no cost, simple hook up and reliable , this is it.

Pretty nice cameras, very easy set up. Simple app. 15 minutes to set install and set up 2 cameras, that's mounting too. Only thing I didn't like was I ordered black cameras figuring the total package would be black but it wasn't. The solar panel and cord was white. Went back and looked at the picture on Amazon and they actually show black camera with white solar panel. Really no big deal but everything black would have looked better than a black camera with a white charger setting close to it. Kind of clash but hey, if they notice that then they've already noticed the cameras

Read several reviews. Was impressed. The setup was seamless. Camera is wonderful. Picture is terrific. Plan to do another review at a later date.
