GROHE23268000 Start Eco Single-Lever Shower Mixer

Have bought hundreds of things from Amazon and this Grohe shower mixer is one of my best purchases. Wanted to wait a while and see how it goes for a year before writing a review. It's been in multiple daily use now for 11 months and I have to say it's a supreme quality product that's still working flawlessly. Should have had this fitted in the shower years ago instead of using mixer bars that would stiffen up and become practically impossible to turn the temperature dial after a few months. With the Grohe mixer, there's no stiffness whatsoever so you can adjust the flow and temperature with the use of two fingers. I really cannot speak highly enough of it and it's as easy to install as a regular mixer bar. Just unscrew and remove the old mixer with an adjustable spanner, replace with the Grohe mixer and tighten the nuts with the spanner...... easy peasy. It's a standard UK fitting size so if you've got a mixer bar in place already, this will definitely replace it.If you're looking to replace a stiff mixer bar, this is a 'no brainer', especially at the current price of £45, which is a steal. I paid £65 for it a year ago but even that's a great price for the quality of product that you're getting!!

Super fast delivery as requested. Item well packaged. I’ve shown what is enclosed in the box. I’m by no means a DIY enthusiast but will attempt anything once and this was my first shower project. My old shower bar was not working so took the plunge and ordered this one as opposed to a bar. It literally took me 5 minutes to install. I unscrewed my old bar and replaced it with this one...... turned the water back on and to my amazement it works great. This type of fitting will be so much easier to use with wet hands than the old one I had. And the temperature adjustment is great too..... I’m more than happy and I am guessing it won’t matter which side your hot and cold feed are to this item as my old bar turned on/off on the right hand side and I altered the temperature on the left hand side (opposite to most other bar type fittings)I’m that’s impressed with how easy this DIY project was I felt compelled to write a review...For less than the price of a call out for a plumber I’ve fixed this myself!!

Excellent quality I replaced an old style leaking shower mixer. Looks modern, stylish and easy to use. It is the second one I have purchased as I recently moved house and wanted the same quality as before.

I have never in my life done anything like exchanging a shower mixer, but it was urgent over Christmas, so here you go. Grohe made it very easy for me. Everything worked immediately as described. Instructions were very clear. The pipes coming out of our wall were a bit short, but that could be dealt with by mounting the (largely for cosmetics) metal disks to cover the tiles around the pipes the other way round (making thinner as a result). Great design, high quality. Works super easily, kids love it, too.

After years of frustration with Bristan shower bars I decided to give Grohe a try (thanks to the recommendation by a reviewer who had the same experience). Best decision I've made so far this year! Thankfully the distance between the incoming pipes seems to be an industry standard of 15 cms so I simply unscrewed the Bristan bar and replaced it with the Grohe. Took me 5 minutes as I simply attached my old shower hose to it. And what an immediate difference! The unit works perfectly and simply. No more fiddly knobs that are hard to grip, hard to adjust and wear out quickly. One simple lever adjusts heat and flow and with more accuracy. Now I'm getting the precise temperature I want and the water's coming out hotter due to Grohe's superior mixing mechanics. If you're in two minds over whether to get this, no need to waste anymore time, get it and you won't be disappointed!

I have arthritic hands and had this installed to make showering much easier. My son only took twenty minutes to remove the old unit and fix this in place with no problem. All i have to do is gently pull the handle towards me and twist slightly to receive all the hot water i need. No strain; no pain. It looks great, too, beautifully finished and simply wipes clean with a damp cloth. There may be cheaper showers but nothing i saw can beat this unit for value and quality.

Replaced my existing shower unit, which had poor water temperature control, with the GROHE 23268000. Very easy to fit and a positive control of the water flow and temperature. A very robust shower unit. Good value for money.

I purchased this for a bathroom renovation I did. The old unit was an electric power shower model. I decided to change to a mixer shower unit. For the price I was not expecting much, how wrong I was! The quality is excellent! Very smooth movement and came in a retail box with all fittings. I nearly bought a Mira which was double the price. So glad I went for a Grohe instead. Highly recommended.

Qualität wie von Grohe gewohnt. Solide Verarbeitung. Einfache Montage und Hanhabung.

No hay duda que Grohe es la mejor de calidad. Es muy brillante pero al tener agua dura donde vivo, tengo que secarla después de la ducha para evitar que se queden las marcas. En comparación con mi grifo anterior es mucho más suave al abrir el agua pero firme a la vez. No hace mucho ruido al pasar el agua.

Livraison est au top 👌. Mais lors de remplacement, les joints étaient trop petits 2cm. Ils fallaient 2,5cm de large, 3mm d’épaisseur. A part problème de joints, je suis très satisfaite. Je n’achète que de Grohe depuis des années

Miscelatore di qualità, dopo quasi un anno d'uso regolare ne siamo ancora molto soddisfatti.

heute angekommen und gleich angeschlossen. Sehr gut verarbeitet und einfach zu montieren. Die mitgelieferten Dichtung sind ungeeignet, deshalb habe ich die alten Gummidichtungen verwendet. Ich hoffe das Teil hatte eine lange Lebensdauer.
