Q: Is it possible to make both ends female on the 135 degree one? Thank you.

I believe the only way is to add a chrome union that has the female threads on both ends to the male end of the 135 degree elbow.

Q: Can the elbow be locked in any position once installed?

Yes. Once it is tightened it is locked in position.

Q: Can I use this in between the shower arm from the wall, and my shower head? (Not a hose).

Yes. I purchased it and used it from the pipe that comes out of the wall to a shower head extension(for extra height)
