Xerox Phaser 6510dn A4 28ppm Colour LED / Laser Printer with Duplex 2-Sided Printing

Excellent printer for colour or black and white, Very sharp text and good colour reproduction. Takes a while to wake up once it 'hibernates' but printing is reasonably fast and the ability to print on both sides of the paper is brilliant, saving paper and a lot of fiddly hand turning. Good to have the option to connect via USB or wireless. Generally good allround.

If you have limited budget, stay away from this printer. The printer only comes with a starter toner that will only yield 500 pages of prints and not the 50,000 that you probably read on the description of this product. When you want to replace the toner, the search engine will only show you the half size, twice thicker pictures of the toner (which are not suitable for this printer) and if you are like me and did your homework about the running cost, you will be surprised to hear that it will cost you nearly £400 to replace the toner set for the 50,000 print. As a student, I only have limited budget and in no way I will have bought this printer, if the search engine was bringing up the correct toner for this particular printer. It is also bulky and heavy, 26kg, you will not be able to put it down on your desk. The mistake of buying this product is not entirely mine. And Amazone do not sell the toner that will fit in this particular printer, too pricy.

This is a great, can't really say little, printer. It's quite large, but is very powerful. Speed of printing is great, duplex mode as well. Only oddity, it does come out of sleep mode every so often, I suspect to check that everything is ok with the toners etc, then it goes back to sleep again. Apart from that, no complaints, quick start, easy to setup, prints from iOS, no complaints.

All aspects of the purchase was very goodunpacking, installation and quality of the printer are goodbit noisy compared to my previous Phaser 6250 DP

Speed and quality is impressive. Clearly selling at a loss on the assumption you’ll then spend over £400 for a set of toner cartridges, but you can get aftermarket alternatives for less than 1/10th of that so very low cost per page.

Keeps defaulting to letter despite A4 settings, resulting in constant paper jams. Has to be restarted to print anything. Network works for a moment then goes offline and the machine has to be turned off and on again. Amazon return refused to take item back as it was too heavy.

When toner gets low you get codes telling you that a 'patch test' has been failed. The only advice from Xerox is to turn off and back on again. This does nothing! New cartridges, slide out the drums and clean and it MAY start working again. The other problem is that on a page of text with a colour photo it will mix colours to make black for all the text. Since most of my printing fits this description, I've used six sets of colour refills and only one of black!Would I buy another of these? Not flippin' likely!

Very good value for the quality, features and running costs. Print quality is great and it's quite quiet in the corner of our living room. Replacement toner is significantly cheaper and gives more pages than similarly priced models from other manufacturers (HP, Samsung are two I checked).Would I buy another ? Absolutely !

La Xerox è una marca di stampanti antica e da sempre ritenuta il massimo.Le origini della Apple e del Mac sembrano siano derivate da studi della stessa Xerox. La stampante è molto veloce e la risoluzione è ottima,pari quasi ad una stampante fotografica di alta qualità.

La impresora me ha sorprendido gratamente. Resulta muy rápida, incluso a doble cara. Las impresiones son buenas.Ha sustituido a una impresora OKI C321dn, y esta Xerox es claramente superior.Utilizo GNU/Linux (Ubuntu) y, al no encontrar un archivo .ppd para este modelo, la instalé como PostScript genérica y resultaba confuso cuándo imprimía en color y en B/N. Cambié la configuración a impresora genérica PCL6 y funciona perfectamente.

Das ist mein dritter Privater Farblaserdruker und ich bin sehr begeistert.Die Druckqualität ist sehr gut, die Geschwindigkeit hoch, die Lautstärke akzeptabel, nur mein vorheriger Dell C1760 war deutlich leiser.Die Baugrößer ist nicht wirklich kompakt, auch hier was der C1760 deutlich kleiner, aber ok.Die Installation und das einstellen ist gut zu machen, gab keine Probleme.Nutze ihn über ein Kable Netzwerk, das funktioniert sehr zuverlässig und schnell.Der Dell C1760 hatte schon ein sehr guten Fotodruck, aber der 6510 ist noch eine Stufe besser, die Farben kommen dem Original sehr nahe und sind schön kräftig.Klar kommt die Qualität nicht an Professionelle Geräte ran, aber die Zeiten wo Farblaser für Fotos nicht zu gebrauchen war, sind eindeutig vorbei, das kann man sich sehr gut ansehen.

Acheté en remplacement de mon ancienne laser couleur d'une marque coréenne, qui a duré 5 ans.Mon choix s'est porté sur cette Xerox Phaser car elle est très économique à l'usage. Le toner se présente en petit bidon, sans parties mécaniques. Dans la marque, ou en compatible, le consommable n'est pas cher. Il est même possible de le faire soi-même.La qualité d'impression est excellente.La machine a une bonne réserve de feuille (presque une ramette complète). Un by-pass pour les documents épais, enveloppes etc. Et prise en charge du recto verso.Elle a un port réseau que je n'utilise pas (connecté à une machine en USB qui répercute le réseau).La machine devrait se révéler fiable, puisque si on utilise du consommable de la marque, on propose la garantie à vie sur site ! (cf le site Xerox)Je suis très satisfait de mon achat.[EDIT 2021] 3 ans d'usage, toujours aussi satisfait. Je rajoute un détail : oui le module Wifi est cher, mais faites comme moi : j'ai mis un cable relié à un répétiteur wifi, tout simplement (rj45) ! Aussi efficace, plus économique ![EDIT 04/2022] Après des messages d'erreurs de plus en plus réguliers type 092-320 fault 092-321 etc. plusieurs tentatives de dépannage, il s'avère, notamment, que les tambours sont à remplacer ; vu le prix unitaire des pièces, cela me revient moins cher d'acheter une nouvelle imprimante, dommage. Verdict : elle a tenu trois ans et demi, des dizaines de milliers de pages ; pour le prix, c'est pas mal du tout.[EDIT 07/2022] Par curiosité, j'ai démonté l'ancienne. Quelle fut ma surprise de constater qu'une des cartes mères fonctionne avec une grosse pile 3V ; forcément, quand elle est vide, l'imprimante ne fonctionne plus. Aucune indication dans la notice. Il faut déposer le panneau plastique latéral (tournevis) puis le blindage métallique pour la voir... **** Information à diffuser, nous ne sommes pas loin de l'obsolescence programmée ***

Conoscevamo già la versione all-in-one ma possiamo sicuramente consigliare anche questa versione ad uso solo stampante. Se proprio volessimo trovare un appunto, sono le dimensioni piuttosto generose. Qualità di stampa molto buona ma, su tutto, il rapporto qualità-prezzo che non ha eguali.
