I fitted these to replace 3 inch locking castor wheels...... to reduce the height of my chair ...It worked a treat with the added bonus of the these castors give a feeling of more stability ..Also I find I don't need to actually use the locking mechanism when Sim Racing ....Even on a hard floor they naturally stay in position during Racing ......But at the same time move quite freely when you deliberately try to change the position of your chair...Regards, Tool Man...

These are exactly what I was looking for to replace the unlockable wheels on my new office gaming chair. Whilst playing driving games I found I was pushing myself backwards as I pressed down on my steering wheel accelerater and brake pedals, because most office chairs have wheels. Easy to replace just pop off and pop on, flick the levers down to lock and job done. Good quality for the price to. Rubber wheels to protect my wooden floor. Now I have the choice to have a rollable or non rollable chair.

Was recommended these from a friend for my basic (Just started) Sim racing setup and these are incredible.Once the lock is pushed down on these they will and do not move. At all.The wheels are a really nice rubbery feel so on my wooden / stone flooring I’m not moving.I will add that I do find every now and then when I get out of the chair I do accidentally lock the wheels and not realise till I come back but that is probably just me.

Imagine my horror as I sat on my new gaming chair (old one I had 10 years) had no brakes!So, off to amazonia - after much deliberation I ordered these ones - as the other popular ones had sticky stright out brakes and looked lethal :) - anywho these popped in, no issues (well I did squish my finger on number 4 so look out for that) glide, at least as good, if not faster than the original ones and give me brakes for pc racing, so happy me

Great quality so far, I use a gaming chair for my PC games. As I have flying and also racing pedals the chair used to come away from my desk (pushing me away as I was using the pedals), so this was the perfect solution. Now I just use some of the brakes and the chair won't move at all. Purchased to replace standard wheels on office/computer chair which had become dangerous for a person on a zimmer to get into & out of. Now with wheels locked this can be achieved safely. The existing wheels were difficult to remove & claw hammer was required to take them off & to hammer the new ones in.

Works perfectly to stop chair rolling when pushing on floor pedals. As noted by others, makes a loud clicking when dragging the chair when sat in it, but not an issue for me, it is perfectly quiet when sat and moving legs on pedals, noise is only when shuffling under desk. One minor point is the wheels are slightly smaller than those on my Corsair chair, I had a slight issue anyway with the chair being a bit low, this was made more of an issue when the wheels these smaller wheels were installed. Solved this by changing the desk/table legs for lower (adjustable) ones.

Needed breaks on my desk chair for Sim Racing and these work so well, smooth rolling when brakes are off and locks nicely in place when they are on

Bought it to get me from stop moving backwards when using rudder controls.Works but I keep hitting on the breaks accidently all the time.

De remfunctie is super handig. Ik gebruik het voor het simracen zodat ik niet naar achterschuif in mijn bureaustoel wanneer ik op mijn rem trap.Soms schuift de stoel alsnog een beetje wanneer ik echt hard druk zet op iets (bijv. rempedalen)

Usato sulla mia sedia da gaming con rotelle mobili per bloccarla e usarla con un volante (g29).Rimane stabile e ben fissa a terra,permettendomi di usarla perfettamente e comodamente con i simulatori di guida.Una soluzione perfetta.Ps controllate le dimensioni del perno prima di prenderle, io per errore ho preso un 10mm (adatto per sedie ikea). Mentre di solito per le sedie da gaming si usano le 11mm.Ma il cambio amazon è stato immediato.

Toda una compraza. Me estaba volviendo loco para poder usar una silla gaming con ruedas y un volante con pedal de freno resistivo que me empujaba hacia atrás en las frenadas fuertes. Y con esto se ha solucionado de un plumazo. Las ruedas son de buena calidad, mejor de la esperada teniendo en cuenta en precio. La parte blanca es ligeramente blanda, no rayan el suelo. Son mejores incluso de lo que me trajo la propia silla. Pero lo mejor es el freno. La verdad, por un precio tan asequible me esperaba el típico freno de baja calidad, que se suelta fácil o algo así. Pero ni de lejos. El freno va "engatillado". Es decir, lo levantas para desfrenarla y se queda como un gatillo. Luego con una ligera presión la patilla baja con un fuerte "clac" y la rueda queda frenada totalmente. Da sensación de robustez, calidad y sobre todo de que no se va a desfrenar. Algunos usuarios por lo que veo reportan que se frenan sin querer. Esto es correcto, pero siempre y cuando la toques sin querer claro. Es decir, el estado "natural" de la rueda es frenado, cuando la desfrenas la patilla se queda "en tensión". Sin con el pie la rozas o algo el gatillo se libera y se frena. Pero vamos, solo te ocurre si estás con los pies encima de las ruedas. Total, encantado con la compra y con lo que me ha costado. Importante comprobar el pin de las ruedas de nuestra silla. Es decir, el ancho del "pitón" de la rueda que se mete en el soporte de la silla. Las hay de 10mm y 11mm de diámetro. Estas son de 11 mm.
