Nothing is perfect but this is pretty close!
A lovely piece of tech, weighing only 8 grams it is delicate but i found this light weight made it very tough to damage during a crash, I think you will only break this during a mishap handling or something. Very calming and simple to fly, it climbs reasonably well and you can even let it glide for a moment which gives it a lot of realism. A couple gripes maybe are how sluggish the turning can feel at times, i believe it's just by design but if you hit a direction and then change your mind and reverse the direction, it takes a good moment to react, that and the trimming of the wings is pretty trial and error to get it perfect, if there's future models I would like to see some method of digital trimming of the tail servo from the transmitter for accuracy's sake. The charge time of 15 minutes is true, though I haven't quite got 8 minute flights more around 5 but that is still impeccable! Be warned however since it charges from the remote, you will be eating away at AA batteries very quickly. all in all these minor issues I have don't take away from how much fun I've have with it so far! A good buy and one of few good ready to fly ornithopters out there!

Fun for the children
Gear for messing around and with using with children. Although it is not recommended using when there is a breeze, as it is easily blown away and you need to use in wide open spaces to run after it.

Flappy Bird
Daughter asked for a remote control bird for her Christmas, and got one. Beautiful to watch flying, looks very like a pigeon in flight, but quite hard to control. Well engineered but somehow falls short of its potential.

An expensive toy if it only works for a few minutes
The Avitron was opened Boxing Day and worked for a few minutes only. The motor works but the wings don't move so it is not fit for purpose.I have contacted the manufacturer via Amazon (who have acknowledged my message) but no response so far.
