iPad Air (1 & 2) Case Cover By PUPiL of Cambridge, England Handmade Genuine Leather (Scarlet - Red)

This cover was not my first choice for my new iPad air. Originally, because I wanted a “smart case” design I ordered an “invision genuine leather iPad air smart case” for £6 more than I eventually paid for my Pupil case. Regrettably this had to be returned the same day as the quality was not as expected or advertised. I read ALL the reviews for genuine leather iPad cases on Amazon and wryly decided that as 1,441 customers had given the various Pupil cases 5 star reviews I should give it the benefit of the doubt. My case in red arrived promptly and beautifully packed. It fits my iPad air like a glove and is extremely classy as well as being beautiful and tactile. If I am being really picky I would like it to be a little lighter but I recognise that you could not use this quality of leather if you reduced the weight. This is an example not of getting what you pay for but of paying relatively little for a really excellent product which looks and feels like it cost a great deal more. I am over the moon with my new case; I have no idea how Pupil can sell this quality at this price but I would thoroughly recommend it.

This product is great, I was unsure if it would be as good as the pictures but was not disappointed. The workmanship on this is high quality. The product is sophisticated, stylish and looks like it cost a lot more than it did. Of course if you want to retain the slimness of your ipad air this is not really for you. If you want a great cover (made in the UK people!!), in real leather (not this PU rubbish the alternatives all call leather), fits like a glove and looks brill then get this. A small note that this is based on a new purchase therefore I cannot comment whats down the line, but like all things if you look after it I can't see any issues arising (personally im looking forward to the leather aging). I would def recommend this to family and friends and have will have no hesitation in buying another one when /if the time comes. I had the Red one if yr interested, color is better in real than the pic which looks more coral/pink but actual cover is a good red.

I'm very happy with this product. I just bought the IPad Air 2 and I wanted to find the best case possible for it and I believe that I found it! It looks nice and it feels sturdy in quality.The reason why I haven't given it a 5 star review is because there are a few blemishes in the leather. They are nothing to worry about, I'm just rather fussy when it comes to these things. Also the flap that holds both sides of the case together, when in use as a stand, flops over the screen. However, I am sure that with wear the leather will become softer so I'll be able to fold it back easily!Overall, it's a great product, it looks nice and I believe that it will protect my IPad. Would recommend!

This case is worth the price, I haven't bought a case that was any better for both my iPad Air and my iPad 2. The 'Scarlet' red is wonderful to look at and not to mention the great protection that the case offers. The magnetic strip used to keep the front covers closed is a blessing too as not only will it keep the front cover on the front, it will also attach the front cover to the back so that it doesn't get in the way while using it. The case has been cut in all the right places (obviously, but I have come across a few cases that had completely covered the camera to the point where it was unable to use). There has only been one issue with the product and at was that it was just a tad heavy, although that isn't a big deal to some and it can easily be overlooked. Overall I'm really pleased with the product and I would recommend to anyone currently looking for a case for an iPad Air or Air 2.

Having looked for a new case for a while both online, and in stores, and returning one which didn't have enough protection for my iPad Air, I ordered this one late last night and got it mid morning today. Fantastic delivery service.The case is top quality and you can smell the leather as you open the box. Even the packing box and tissue wrap are worth mentioning as they have been clearly closed to represent a first class product. The hand tied leather tag adds a touch of sophistication too.It looks good and feels good and the magnetic clasp keeps the iPad secure and closes it down when you shut the case.I have had iPads since well it feels like forever now, but this is by far the best case for quality and design I have ever come across and more than value for money.I would recommend this to anybody without hesitation.

Very smart case for our iPad Air. Fits perfectly, appears good quality and made to high standard. Not sure how much protection this would offer if you dropped your device as the corners of the iPad are more exposed with this design and not completely encased. However, the conversion to a stand works well and we love the colour, which is a slightly darker red than the photos might suggest (sort of mid way between scarlet and burgundy). It will be interesting to see how it stands up to wear and tear but, being leather, I expect it to age gracefully. I will report back if it doesn't. In summary, this is a good case and definitely excellent value for money. I can recommend it based on my first impressions.

This genuine leather case is sturdy, classy and really well made giving me all the protection I wanted for my iPad. It arrived in a strong card box and was beautifully presented. In the standing position the leather grips really well so there is no falling down as I have experienced with cheaper cases. The picture is misleading as it does not show the closure tab which does come forward over the screen. The closure tab doesn't fold back on itself with a magnet so it is a slightly annoying feature.

The case arrived very well packaged in it's smart box. It looks great, is well made and feels (and smells) like a quality product. I have an Air2 and was a little worried about other reviews saying that the case would be too large, but, for me, it seems ok. If I had to say something negative, it is that the nice slim, light-weight Air2 is not shown off to its best as the good quality of leather used means that it is fairly heavy. However, I would recommend this to anyone who wishes to have a quality product that looks good.
