If you us a front clip harness and have a large dog this is a great leash. For our 40lb poodle puppy the leash handle is in the perfect spot for no tension on the leash if he is heeling very close with a front clip harness, it should work well as he gets older and provide a little more freedom as he grows. If you are back clipping or using with a collar it could probably fit down to 20 or so pounds but it does depend on how close you want your dog to heel . Our pup will grow to about 70lbs and I think it will be fine but will allow a slightly more free heel. would not work well for a dog under 30lbs front clipping unless you don’t care to use the second handle. The handle padding is really comfortable, if our dog did try to bolt for some reason it would not be uncomfortable to hold on to the the second handle; it is comfortable and provides more security and control. The leash feels strong but it is still thin in the non-padded areas, so it is lightweight and doesn’t add weight or the illusion of tension on the leash for the dog.The dog bag dispenser fits the rolls of bags we already have, and while there is no rod to hold them, it still works great because the dispensing hole is a “star” cut. Bags are easy to pull out but never fall out or get pulled out brushing against your leg like our plastic ones with the rod do, you do have to actually pull them out.I got the aqua one, it is nice looking and although it doesn’t match our teal harness perfectly it still looks nice and like a quality leash. I’ve only had it a week so I can’t speak to the durability.

I have two large dogs that do not do well on the leash and these help control them both. Having two handles is super helpful and the cushion is nice when you’re getting pulled as hard as my girls pull. They are durable, thick, and sturdy enough for my bigger dogs without being bulky and hard to manage.

I love the double handle and unlike other leashes, this one doesn't get damaged when my puppy accidentally takes a bite at it.

We are really pleased with this leash. Our 45 lb boxer mix came to us from a foster, and we weren’t quite prepared for her pulling tendencies. This leash, paired with the Ruffwear front range no-pull harness (also on Amazon) has improved her pulling so much. We’ve used this leash for about a month, and though she still tests her limits, I feel a lot more secure with this leash compared to some of the generic cheap leashes. I especially like the neoprene handles, as the neoprene helps cushion my fingers against some of her more energetic walks.I appreciate the front handle, as it helps us get a good hold of her in case a kid on a bike rides by (she wants to play chase), or if we’re walking past the one dog in the park that wants to say nasty things about our girl’s mother. It makes us feel like we’re in control of the situation, which makes our girl feel like she doesn’t have to defend our honor or chase down the weird puppy on wheels.I don’t think the reflective stitching is super effective, but I LOVE the included waste bag holder. We hang the full bag from the holder after she’s done and we’re headed home by opening the bottom Velcro strips and closing the strips tightly over the bag where it’s knotted so that it doesn’t slip.Overall, I’m pleased with this product and plan to purchase more for future pups we bring into our family. I wish there were more colors for the entire leash, in case Black Rhino is looking for input, but the quality and performance of this leash has me a very happy customer.The advertising of this product on Amazon has me annoyed, however. Why is it necessary to use sexualized images of female models wearing cheeky bikinis to sell a dog leash?2 year update:This leash is still going strong after almost 2 years of near-daily use. Our girl isn’t pulling as much as she did when she first came into our lives, but sometimes does get a little energetic and enthusiastic on walks, and the neoprene has held up and protected our fingers. The hardware has held up well, too. We did upgrade the bag holder to one of the plastic cylinders and added a silicone loop ware holder, and we joke that we have the Cadillac of dog leashes. I definitely plan on buying this leash again if we ever add a second pup to our lives.

This is a great leash and holds up to the tugs of my 70lb GSD. It’s comfortable to grip, and I love the traffic control handle for when we need to navigate through crowds or if I just need to keep her close. My only complaint is that the pouch to store poop bags catches on the bags sometimes. I have to unzip the pouch and unravel the snag in order to pull enough of the poop bag out.

This is a great leash! Well made, looks good, and I like the reflective feature for walking at night. I only have 2 minor complaints. The main loop at the end is a bit small. My hands are about average for most men, but it's tight getting my hand into the loop or pulling it back out. It's not uncomfortably so, but it would be better if it was a little bit larger loop. My second complaint is that the traffic control loop is a little bit further down the leash than I like. Maybe it's because I got the 6ft leash so I really have to reach to grab it. If it was 4-6 inches higher up it would be better.But overall it's really nice and I'm thinking of buying another one to replace the Kong leash I've had forever for my other dog.

This dog leash & dog collar are both excellent quality. I like the cushioned collar & also the cushioned handles on the leash. The stitching is reflective. The dog collar is about 2" wide which is wider than I thought, but works well & our puppy likes it. She is a medium-large mixed breed.Would highly recommend these products.

This is just as described, very sturdy and well made. Plus the poop bag holder is a nice bonus
