Best drinking vessel ever!
Likes:Construction and materials quality.I washed this a few minutes after it arrived, then made a cup of English Breakfast tea in it once rinsed and dried. That tea was still at the perfect temperature six hours later and showed no signs of cooling down until I removed the lid after finishing most of the drink. The lid is, in the way of all the best designs, simple yet completely effective in that it is moulded (3d printed perhaps?) well, with no sharp edges and that it allows sips to be taken without the hot drink of choice cooling too soon. The body of the cup is well finished with a fine brushed surface and a separate handle, attached to the body by screws that locate in lugs that are an integral part of the body. The handle is a pressed and shaped from a thinner piece of steel than the body, this part appears to have a smoothly applied chromium or silver nitrate plated finish that looks good and breaks up an otherwise huge area of brushed stainless. Then there's that amazing lid:It's best explained as a grownup version of the plastic beaker whose lid had a simple spout on it, to reduce the quantity of Ribena that a much younger version of myself would dribble all over the floor. That messy wee soul, she couldn't help it! Now, a grown woman in her late fifties, I'm only slightly better at not spilling liquids but the clever design of the cup's lid means that the likelihood of spillage is far lower and, even if the vessel, its lid and its payload of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. were to end up on the carpet, only the slightest dribble would escape.Dislikes:None relating to the item, none at all. It's perfect. One minor issue with me though, which is how on earth I had not found such a brilliantly simple, simply brilliant object sooner.😁👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Good heat holding
Perfect for tea. Insulation keeps the tea for for at least 3 hrs, whilst the outside remains cool to touch. Lid has no leaks and can sometimes be a bit tight to get off. Base is a bit wide for car cup holders but the handle is well made and sturdy. Great cup.

Very good but not quite great
I've had this for a couple of weeks now and it's good but in addition to giving me a big drink, I bought this because I had expected it would fare better with London's limescale problems than my plastic cup had done. Unfortunately it started staining on the very first day and now has a permanent brown ring about 1½ inches below the top on the inside.Given that it cost £20 I'm a little disappointed about the staining but otherwise this is a superb mug which remains cool to the touch even when filled with the hottest liquids and has a satisfying heft to it when in use.

Fantastic mug
Superb at keeping your drink hot for a few hours… I wasn’t sure about drinking from metal as I like my ceramic mugs, but you get used to it quite quickly and I wouldn't go back now…

Well made robust jug/mug. Very tight fitting lid
This was to replace my old trusted stainless mug when the handle fell off. I like my coffee, so this tankard suits me fine, if you are into beer, soup or any other beverages and you want a decent size this will do the job. My only complaint is with the lid seal. It is very tight, and if you have a hot drink, spillage and burns are doable. I removed the seal when not in transit because of this. I don't find the size or the bulky handle to be an issue, others might take issue.

The mug is excellent
A fine mug, well made and aesthetically pleasing. It holds liquid and will help to maintain it's temperature as you carefully carry it from your kitchen to your living room. The problems start if you wish to do anything more than that with it. Whilst the mug is a solid 5 stars, the lid (and I use the word only in the sense that it is a disk somewhat approximate to the size and shape of the aperture to which it should fit) is a fat zero. It's a flimsy plastic, and sits loosely enough in the top of the mug that if you were to turn the mug upside down and give it a firm tap, it would fall straight out. Any attempt to take a drink by tipping the mug when filled with liquid will also cause the lid to come off, slightly after the contents have already spilled out around the edges. Even if the lid could be adequately wedged in place, the sliding lid that covers the whole I assume is meant for drinking out of is capable of sliding with any sort of lateral movement, any slight breeze, or possibly just on a whim. Essentially the lid is purely decorative and fulfils no function that aids keeping liquid in.Hyperbole aside, it is legitimately quite a nice large mug for enjoying a cup of piping hot tea on the sofa, and if that's all you are after you could do worse. What it isn't is anything more than that. It's not something you'd want to take on a train or run for a bus with, it's certainly not a way of saving money by making a coffee at home and skipping the visit to Starbucks on your way to work. It's just a mug. Don't move around too much with it and don't try to drink out of the hole in the lid if you don't want a face full of (very, it does keep things hot well) tea.

An all round brilliant mug
I’d mistaken this for the average insulated mug, especially as the outer body remained cool even after a couple of hours. I’m now nursing a pair of scalded lips for underrating the mug’s efficiency. I’ll heal and now know better. It also has more volume than the average mug to give you enough to drink for a long timeThe brushed-steel-look mug is not too tall and not too short and its lid is so secure. I love everything about it.
