Mercers FurnitureTrade Corona Nest of Tables

I bought these together with the two door cabinet of the same make. Lovely tables for the lounge, solid wood, matt finished with lovely grain and knots visible which I really like. A nice product at a fair price. By the way I didn't use the nailed in black metal studs as I preferred the tables without them.

Great product but can be a bit awkward to assemble.

Building the frame straight forward, although they don't supply enough glue for the frame in my opinion so I used my own, the problem I had was fixing the tops onto them - there are no guide holes in the tops for the screws that you need to put in place to secure it and this is a problem as the struts are tall so you can't see what your doing when trying to screw them in.I also didn't have an extension for my electric screwdriver so I manually screwed them in and some of them didn't drop in straight and I couldn't see what I was doing, fair to say the kids learned a few new swear words as I had to correct my mistakes manually.All in all the are quite big and look fantastic so well worth the swearing and effort.

As a 69 year old (female) I found this easy to put together and it looks great. I did put a couple of layers of matt varnish on the tops (because I child care for my 2 grand daughters and they can be a bit mucky) to prevent stains from paint, playdoh &felt tips, and the finished item is brilliant. My only complaint is that they are a bit tight with the wood glue, but luckily I already had some.

Value for money. There is not quite enough wood glue so make sure you have some close to hand. I didn’t find the instructions a problem. Logic ,common sense and concentration made these easy enough to put together. I’m not perfect one is not perfect. But my fault lol. They are quite long so check the size. Perfect for my requirements.

Not sturdy had to put a lot of the holes in myself as they were pre drilled bigger then I expected in height but they will be ok to look at and not to have anything very heavy in them

The quality of the tables are fine, I have two moans though.The instructions leave a bit to be desired, and were at times quite confusing. The screws supplied to put tables together were not up to scratch. I was forced to use my own screws. Once put together they were sturdy enough.

The holes for screwing into are terrible! You couldn't screww in properly and so the sturdiness if affected. It mentioned using wood glue, but they gave a tiny sachet for all three tables, which was nowhere near enough. They certainly don't make it easy to out this together! But looks good and pretty much does the job, providing we don't need it to hold too much weight!
