British terminology!!!
I have quite a collection of crochet books now and am often disappointed by the layout, useable projects or terminology (though they are always good to be inspired by). So when I received this book, I was overjoyed to find such a fantastically well thought out collection. It takes a while to follow the diagram method used to described patterns, but with a basic understanding of the main stitches used in crochet, you very quickly adapt. Plus all the patterns are fairly repetitive, so once you start off each project, you are only really changing the yarn colour to add the detail. Also, it is all in UK crochet terminology, so no having to convert!!! There is a handy page at the back of conversions, which is a good reference. I think I'll copy the USA conversions out and put them in my American terminology books to save my brain when working from these.I am really looking forward to trying all of the patterns in this book, as they are all charming and modern and will certainly be an enviable accessory to any home.A must have for any crocheter. :-)

Inspirational
This book is very inspirational with lots of ideas. I like the patchwork effect and the use of colour to achieve something unique. The only draw back for me is, the instructions are in chart form and this is something I haven't managed to learn yet. If I had known this I probably wouldn't have bought it, however, I am going to try and learn how to read the charts because there are some really nice projects.

Patchwork crochet
Once I get to grips with diagrammatic pattern reading it'll be a lot of fun to make projects in here.

Gorgeous designs but small diagrams make it hard to follow .
Lovely designs but I did not notice it was a diagram crochet pattern book .I find them almost impossible to read and the patterns are printed so small.I would have given the book 5 stars if the patterns had been written out.
