The Stack Model Method (Grades 3-4): An Intuitive and Creative Approach to Solving Word Problems: Volume 1 (Singapore Math 2.0)

I'm a visual mathematician, but this book... I have successfully used the bar modelling method in my teaching for a number of years. This book is supposed to be the new bar method. However, I think it just overcomplicates matters & confuses the kids. You need to have a reasonable understanding of the maths before trying a problem with this method, but if you can do that you don't really need it. The fact that there are a couple of errors makes it even more confusing.
