Received yesterday, charged battery, didn’t take long, used KEMEL hair clippers after I washed my hair, my hair is on the short side so I used the 7mm for the back and sides and the 9mm for the top, I’ve got a small clipper I used for my neckline and around my ears, overall result, the KEMEL clippers did a very good even cut, very easy to use, no hair tugging, very quick hair cut, easy to clean, will use these clippers every two weeks to keep my hair short, very impressive clippers for the price, I’ve used other traditional and a lot more expensive hair clippers in the past, but these for just over £30 pounds cut my hair evenly back, side and top very quickly, the 7mm and 9mm seem to blend in very well with my hair, very happy with purchase.

My hair is tight so I don’t use the attachments and use a detail trimmer for over the ears , I find this trimmer does a good job , it’s easy to use, it holds a charge well and it easy to clean .I would recommend and would buy again

I always read a few 1 star reviews but they seem to be written by users who have trouble using the cutter. You have to spend time bonding with the cutter and understanding the mechanics of fitting and adjusting the length of cut. It's a bit fiddley until you get the knack of locking the comb at the desired length cut. The length markings ARE there but it's black on black so you haven't look carefully. A bargain at £33.

Great hair clipper. Long battery life. Plenty of options for hair length. Good value for money.

The media could not be loaded. the motor runs, but blades are slow, if you press the centre with your finger they speed -up but you cannot cut your hair. I only generally used it two to three times a year, as I also visit the barbers. My previous one was a Remington which I had for over 7-years. I will look for an alternative now!!

I bought this as a gift and the reviews seemed excellent however I definitely should have listened to the poor reviews on this one!The clippers do work well on the main head, easy cutting! But when it comes to around the ears it didn't work well at all, you just cant get the right angle to get a proper cut, so be prepared to use separate beard trimmers for these areas.Setting the cutting grade is also a faf, you spin a cheap plastic dial to set the level. But there is no indication to say which grade you are at. Yes there are grades marked on there but no arrow to say which grade it is on so its a guessing game.The advert also said I would get ear/noes clippers but there was none in the box.Overall very disappointed.

I used the trimmer to to cut my hair. The instruction guide/manual was disappointing. Where as there was approximate 3-4 pages with pictorial views, detailed reference to the parts but they were all in Chinese.The English details left a lot to guess work. It is pity that English could not be incorporated in the Chinese pictorial.I contacted KEMEI by email for advice and they received my query but did not reply or acknowledge.James Merrilees
