perfect to ensure a kilt made to measure a few years ago can be extended in the waste on both sides and be pressed back into service, the leather and buckles are of high quality and match the original 1.25" straps on the kilt perfectly.Whilst it is possible to re-tailor a kilt to account for middle aged spread, it is expensive and time consuming to get it done, this is a much easier way and only the eagle eyed can tell from the double buckles seen on one side

Having put on a bit of weight, I needed an extra inch or two at the kilt waist. These were perfect - word of advice is to make sure you order the correct width to suit your existing kilt fittings as they come in at least 2 widths! These were exactly as described and fitted spot-on.

Whilst the product is as described and very well made unfortunately it doesn't do the job my husband was wanting, as he has put weight on around his middle the addition of the straps means that the top apron of the kilt now shows a great deal of the under apron and the pleats end up further to the back. Be still given a 5 star review though as there is nothing wrong with the product itself

Bit flimsy but ok for the money

These are totally compatible with the existing adjuster straps and buckles. Kilts have three adjuster straps with two on the right hip and one on the left. These extender straps are easy to attach and to operate on the twin strap side where the only evidence of their presence is a set of double buckles. The one on the left hip is more difficult as the new extender buckle has to be attached beneath the top layer of kilt material before the new extended strap can be pulled through to attach to the original single buckle. Still, once done it looks good and is a quicker solution than going on that diet you always promised yourself. I intend to start mine...one day soon...perhaps?

Needed extenders as Kilt was my son's. Unfortunately picture of item is incorrect as they do not have the number of holes as shown. Telephoned to say I thought I had received wrong length but in fact they were correct although they are actually 1/4 inch short of 7 inches? Performed fine at the function I attended.
