Best brown/olive tan on the market
I've tried many self-tanning products, including similarly expensive ones like Xen-Tan. This is the only one that truly brown/olive, and has no traces of gold or orange or bronze. It does not streak and little goes a long way.UPSIDES: The color. Hands down the only natural brown self-tanner I have found. You can also see this on most of the comparative swatches online. It's a lot more brown than Xen-Tan, which is really bronze, not olive. A little goes a very long way, so you don't need to glob this on. A light coat does the trick.PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS GOES ON FAST. Like really fast. Basically the minute you put it on your skin, it colors it - though you still need to wait the 8 hours for the color to really sink in and last. How much you actually put on seems to make no difference, a light coat and a heavy coat will get the same results. If you want a darker tan, you need to apply a separate second coat the next day. There is no problem with streaking, but you should apply carefully, because you can inadvertently apply this to a part of your body that's hard to scrub off (hands, feet, etc.)APPLICATION: I highly recommend getting the Xen-Tan mitt instead of the Fake Bake mitt with this, because the Fake Bake mitt soaks right through and it's a pain to get the color scrubbed off your hands (baking soda helps). For the hands and feet and face, I recommend using a facial makeup sponge, like one of those eggs you can get in Sephora, soaking it with water, and then applying to feet/hands/face in an "ombre" fashion (if you want to look natural, of course.) For the back, I recommend getting the Tanning by ModelCo Self-Tan Back Applicator, it works really well and is good quality.

Love fake bake .. Love this .. buy it now !!!
This tan is prefect especially for those with dryer skin in areas .. This does not come off all patchy at all in areas unlike some of the cheaper brands out there on the market .. Also what I love about this product is that u can build up the colour to the darkness u want or if you only want a light coloured tan then if u only put a little bit on .. It's perfect also .. I really can't fault this product in anyway at all and I'm so so glad that I brought this fatter years of trying to find the perfect tab I finally found it .. I'm a fake bake tan fan so I use other fake bake products as well as this tan but if u have dry skin in areas like me and u want a natural looking or dark nary teal looking streak free tan .. Then please either buy this or the mouse .. Do not buy the spray If y have dry skin as it will not suit he skin type (trust me I know from experience) ., also buy from Amazon as cheapest place to get these products from .. Trust me I shop around so really know my stuff !!

Don't see what the fuss is about but good tan all the same
I had heard amazing things about fake bake, that it was "far better" than St.Tropez, more natural looking and that all the celebrities used it etc so I was keen to try it out.First off, I noticed it was harder to apply than St. Tropez (which I have been using for around 2 years). I followed the exact same steps when using Fake Bake as I did before with St. Tropez (exfoliated and applied with tanning mit, I've never needed to use moisturiser) but I found it harder to get it to absorb and to get rid of streaks so it required more effort to apply (although to be fair when I washed the tan off the next day there where no streaks). As far as the colour is concerned I THINK it is slightly more of a browny bronze colour than St.Tropez but I'm not that sure because it isn't a very noticeable difference. It seems to wear off in about the same amount of time as St.Tropez but slightly more evenly. When you re-apply depends on how dark you like to keep your tan but for me it was around 4 or 5 days (this was with moisturising every day after the shower to lengthen the time before re-application as much as possible).A good tan, definitely one of the best out there but does not deserve the hype that it has been given. I found it no more natural looking than St.Tropez and as far as performance went it was slightly better in one respect and then slightly worse in another. To conclude: Wouldn't really say it's worth switching for and don't expect dramatically different results if you do but if you're just looking for one of the top fake tans on the market then there's no reason not to buy this. It's not revolutionary but it is very good.

Nothing fake about this !!!!!
I bought this as it is one of the best in the mid price range. Imagine my delight at finding it on amazon. Only problem is it now comes in a tube and not a bottle so you're losing out in volume but I suppose it fits with the price as it's less than half off rrp.The product glides on and by the time you've showered, it really is streak free. A deep brown glow rather than the cheaper products that produce an orange 'tango' look. You must exfoliate, and you must moisturise first but as long as you use a weekly body polisher and tinted moisturiser in the shower, you'll keep the tan for a lot longer. For a really dark tan, use more fake bake rather than your weekly moisturiser until desired colour is achieved.
