Honestly a small or medium would probably work. Order your regular size you would usually get. I’m 5’3, 205lbs and ordered a large. Fits just fine

As far as sheerness goes, yes. They are squat proof. They are pretty thick. Even then though, you can still see the outline of your panties.

Yes you should find other leggings. The material is stretchy but the waist band will roll down.
