Package says it will keep food hot for up to 5 hours. I put boiling and I mean boiling hot soup in the container for my husbands lunch and 5 hours later when he ate it was luke warm. luckily he doesn't like his food really hot. So for him it is fine. Just that if you think it is going to be steamy hot like when you loaded it then you will be disappointed. I even put really hot water in the container and poured it out before I put the soup in so it would already be warm.Haven't tried it for cold food yet, it is a perfect size though and easy to clean. Good for the price. Couldn't find a Yeti brand for just food or I would have tried that.

Works great. Put the food in hot and by lunchtime, the food is warm enough to eat.

I poured boiling water on this to preheat the container. I then microwaved the food that I put on this. 4 hours later, the food is lukewarm.I then tried with something cold. 8 hours later, it's still cold.

Used this to ship home made vanilla. Perfect!

The listing says stays hot for 7 hours but the jar says 5 hours. At 5 hours the food is ok but barely warm but I find this size perfect for lunch and the bigger ones I had I filled only half way and the mouth was narrower so this is easier to eat from and 5 hours about max for warm if you put boiling water before hand. Not many this size that is compact and enough for lunch for an adult like me. Easy to clean.

Seems good but it is hard for little hands to twist open

These arrived dented and dinged up even though they were packaged in a box with paper. Disappointing, otherwise the thermos works as described.

Use it to put soup in for my son's lunch. It's not very big but perfect for his needs. He says it's still hot by lunch time.

It does not keep food hot for long. The longest I have left hot food in there was 4 hours. It was lukewarm.

Love the wide mouth....easy to fill. Stays warm and it is the perfect size for my kid’s lunches.
