I have been looking for a quality butcher block but not wanting to spend $100+. This board is a amazing value for the price! It is very sturdy and does not move at all while cutting. The color of the board is exactly what I wanted, like a medium wood color. The board came with directions with how to take care of it, which are very easy to follow. Even after having for a few weeks and using at least five days a week, it still looks brand. It has been a great addition to our kitchen decor as well.

Nice looking board, no flaws, no annoying label/engraving. I've been working some vegetable oil into it to treat the wood, and it's become a nice array of rich darker brown tones, a bit darker than the pictures. It's not super hard wood and scratches more easily than an expensive board, but for the price it's great.

This is a well made cutting board, end grain is tight fitting and well glued up. But it is not ready for use. Full of drum sanding marks that should’ve been cleaned up. So I had to further sand/flattened out the board to 320 grit w an orbital sander. After which I cleaned it w denatured alcohol and finished it w two coats of Ziruma Marvelous Wood Wax.

I bought this for my son for a 21st birthday gift so he could have a cutting board that would “last him the rest of his life” I feel like the many meals you create on your cutting board that you develop sentiment. And he’s only had this for a few months and it’s already falling apart. It has never been put in a dishwasher or been submerged in water. Simply used rinsed and dried. Waste of money.UPDATE: amazing customer service. That had me replaced quickly and truly cares. That’s what customer service is all about.

I guess I've just been the unlucky buyer-of-Cutting-Boards lately. I've picked-up 4 different boards over the last couple of years and all of them are garbage. None of them come even remotely close to my favorited Board, that finally went to the Cutting Board Afterlife after almost 30 years. These boards of late, last a few months or a year, and then go the crap in a hand-basket.This one warps on a regular basis. I wash it; Dry it; Treat it exactly the way the instructions say, and it still warps. It's no fun if your Cutting Board will not sit soundly on your Countertop. And, obviously it's also Dangerous. I'm getting real sick of finding pieces of Cardboard the right depth to slide underneath this Board to make it stop wobbling.By the way - the Boos Board that I picked-up recently was Garbage too. And Boos is supposedly a reliable Company... obviously no more.

Board recovery to cuts is awesome. Just a little board butter and the cuts seem to disappear. Doesn’t seem to dull my knife either. Wish it was a little larger but overall a great board that is pretty enough to leave out.

This cutting board is beautiful and thick. It's big and thick and comes with nonstick stickers. I particularly love that it has the groove around it to catch liquid so that I don't end up with a wet counter. I've gone ahead and ordered the whole set so that I can have separate boards for meat, veg, fruit, onions, bread...

I highly suggest that if you are looking for a wooden chopping block that you actually use painters tape & mark out your island (or where the board will rest). This was way to small for the area, so I had to return it.

As you can see by the pictures this cutting board had already been used and has a crack. Unacceptable, returning and will not be purchasing a new one.
