BATA Mouse Boots: Get Em! They Work!
Positive feedback for this seller and these boots. I've used these same boots twice while Dogsledding in Maine (~1 week trip/temps to -15fF). These boots work very well as others have stated. Warm, waterproof, comfortable, durable. If they are good enough for our troops, they are good enough for me. Be careful with sizing. My foot is a a little bit bit bigger than a 10 ½ Reg and I carefully measured my foot size while wearing a single, medium weight sock. Based upon that size and guidance that the boots run big, I ordered a size 10 Reg and they were still too large. The seller kindly allow a return/exchange for a size 9 Reg, which fit perfectly. This seller seems to have a very good selection of sizes too, which is helpful. My boots were new, genuine BATA and the RMA was handled very quickly. No snags or issues with prompt email responses to my inquiry. I'm now ready for winter. If you are considering these boots, go for it....

Great cold weather gear
I live in NW VT and temps often get in the -10 to minus 30 F, I also hunt in North Dakota where it is even colder, sitting in a stand or blind for extended periods require quality foot wear, these are close to the best I have found and are an absolute bargain for the price. With that said they are not perfect, do not even think of wearing them if you do not pre heat these boots, they will not warm up, also wear premium wool socks, like a merino or something that is 100% wool, this makes a difference as your feet will sweat at first then you have wet or damp feet, the wool will socks along with the wool in the boot will help keep your feet warm. The other thing you need to remember is that NO boot will keep your feet warm for extended periods in those temps, you will need to move around and get the blood flowing at a certain time, I can usually last about three hours maybe four before I need to move, a short walk, jumping jacks, anything to get your hear rate up and the blood flowing to the extremities works. Then you can hunker back down and do it all over again, as I said these are not perfect but for the cost and what you get they are hard to beat. Hope this helps...

Warm, durable boot, but not as comfortable as an all day hiking boot.
Work as advertised. I am usually a size 9 for work boots, and I think I ordered a size 8 in these mickey boots...fit great. The rubber is stiff and doesn't flex too much, so they are supportive, but tough to maneuver in some cases. They are large and a bit clumsy, definitely not an all day winter hiking boot. For plowing, snow blowing, shoveling for a few hours, no problem. If you are sitting out in the woods hunting, they are very warm. Make sure you wear tall, thick socks as the rubber top section around your leg will rub and can get uncomfortable/annoying if you have short socks on. You don't want the rubber on your skin. Other than that, you can't expect more for the price. A good, warm, waterproof winter boot. Just realize what the trade-offs are. If your looking for a winter hiking boot, or doing a lot of walking look elsewhere...you'd be better off with a gore-tex hiking boot or similar.

Fits my Wife Perfectly!!! (After "downsizing from her original shoe size)
My wife loved these boots when she saw them. She wanted something she could wear outside, in the snow, that would keep her feet warm in the unusually cold weather we've been having. So, I originally ordered a pair of size 9R for her. (Her regular shoe size is a women's 8 1/2. Well, the 9R's were way too big. However, I tried them on and they fit perfectly! (I take a man's size 10 1/2).I decided to keep the 9R's for myself and ordered her a set of size7R's. The boots fit her like a glove. (An oxymoron)? The boots are really warm and add a great deal of protection to the feet, Great traction in "snowy/wet weather!

BUYER BEWARE: HIDDEN FEES & IRREGULAR SIZES
Purchased a size smaller only because I read the user reviews. Length was fine, had plenty of room but the middle of the boot was so narrow it made the feet throb. Returned the item and was not only charged for return S&H but also a 15% restock fee that all came out of my refund. None of this was included in the product info and shipping was ‘free’ according to check-out. Good one Army Universe!

Good product. Note
Very tough, completely waterproof and plenty of room for warm socks. I ordered my regular shoe size and they will accommodate several pair of thin socks for layering or one pair a very heavy f expedition weight socks with sock liners without fitting too tight and cutting off blood flow. Good product. Note: These boots are not light weight.

Warmest ever!!!
I normally wear 8.5 and a 7W fits with some room. These babies keep your feet very VERY WARM! I learned in another review that since the insulation is sealed from the inside and outside it can't get wet. That moisture is what typically acts as a ice cube forming around your foot. Just like the directions in the boot package says... Only a thin pair of socks are needed. However, I've noted that body movement /blood flow is needed to keep your feet warm. Sitting in a tree stand for hours (4, 5,6+) with little to no movement resulted in cold feet for me. That said my feet stayed warm twice as long on average as my Cabelas pack boots.

These things are GREAT.
I've used these several times since receipt, and I'm ALWAYS amazed at how nice they are. They do run large, so buy 1/2 - 1 full size smaller than you would normally wear. Also follow the instructions re: one long wool sock. Its enough, and you want it long to prevent the rubber tops from rubbing your skin raw. They have FANTASTIC grip in slick snowy conditions, which was an unexpected benefit. They are larger than most boots, but I didn't find them exceedingly heavy as others have said.Overall, VERY happy with my purchase. These things should last me for a LONG time.
