Botanik Organic Deodorant for Women - All Natural - Aluminum Free Deodorant - Vegan - Wild Lavender - 2.65oz Stick

I have used this for a few days now and found that like most organic / natural deodorant it will require a second application come evening time if you are doing something with the second part of your day. I have tried two others and enjoy this scent the most. It is not over powering, but does mask any BO smells. I think organic scents will depend on your body chemistry and what will work for some wont work for others ( other brand I tried made me smell worse than if I didn't wear deodorant!). I have a low level of sweat and BO, if you have higher levels or sweat easy I am not sure how this product will work for you. I am happy with this product but decided to give it 4 stars as I found it was difficult to apply and if you live in a cooler environment you may feel like you have to "scrape" this on. The container size was also a bit smaller than I expected although the amount is listed it does appear smaller than your "typical" deodorant. Has a color and will leave residue if you plan to wear that little black dress.With all the cons I am still pleased with this purchase and will buy again. It is worth the hassles to have less exposure to chemicals and a natural option.

I was looking for an alternative to Schmidt's and this is almost exactly like it. The scent is great, just like Schmidt's you have to warm it under your arm a bit before using.It did not hold up to a full kitchen shift and I had to reapply halfway through my day. But this is not a deal breaker since in my experience very few natural deodorants can make it through a 10-12 hour shift without needing to be reused (the exceptions I've found have been Nubian Heritage, Schmidt's, and Primal Pit Paste)This does contain baking soda, which for me doesn't cause irritation but I know for a lot of people it can.

I really enjoy this product! It smells great and keeps me smelling fresh! It does roll on quite thick, which means the container doesn’t last long, unfortunately. But, I use it regularly a d love it!

I wish I could have given this natural deodorant 5 stars. It's not oily like other naturals and the scent is subtle. Most importantly, it worked in my limited testing of it--before the applicator mechanism that makes the deodorant stick come out of the applicator stopped working. It's just not the same when you have to scoop the product out and apply it with your fingers. Such a disappointment for what is not a cheap price. :(

I have tried many other natural ingredient deoderants and was about to give up and just use the chemical loaded stuff. Every other one I have used has eventually made my armpits literally raw (must have been allergic to an ingredient). This one, however, no rawness or redness/irritation at all. In fact, my armpits seem very moisturized and happy. It has a pleasant light scent (not overpowering), and generally lasts all day for me. It also applies pretty smoothly. I have only noticed one slight downside (one that I am totally ok with dealing with)...it can get a little messy sometimes. It softens up very quickly when it is applied, and sometimes accumulates around the edges of the container. I just scrape it off with my finger while it is still soft and apply it as a little extra. I think this will be my regular go-to for a while.

It didn't have a nice scent like the Secret I usually buy and it didn't go on smoothly. I probably won't buy it again because of the cost and applying it is not easy. I have to rub hard to get any to go on and it feels uncomfortable. I'm just used to the Secret brand I guess. I'm sorry :(

Originally bought both the lavender and evergreen as stocking stuffers for my husband and I just for fun! We didn’t realize how amazing the deodorant was until we both started using! Reasons why we love this product...1. Smells absolutely heavenly! Great choices for both male and female and the smell isn’t overbearing!2. Stays on all day long into late evening and with heavy exercise....underarms are still smelling great by bedtime! No BO!!!3. Organic, natural....love knowing what’s going on our bodies4. Lasts a long time!!!5. No underarm white powdery dots! YES!!6. NOTE: I’ve (female) had to resort to clinically tested/stronger deodorant in the past and this works waaaay better!!!!7. Price may be a tad higher than some store deodarants but no higher than the clinically tested ones!8. Feels cool and refreshing when you put-BONUS!!!Bottom line....TRY this deodorant out!!! We will definitely be ordering again....You will not be disappointed!!!

Making the switch to natural / non-aluminum deodorant is quite the journey. In the past couple of years I have tried many brands and forms - solid stick, solid pot, liquid, spray, etc. Other solids have been too hard to apply to a sensitive underarm area and even a bit crumbly. Or you have to warm the product in your hand first and rub it on with your fingers. No thanks. The liquid rollers are fine but leave you feeling pretty sticky.So long story short, I really like the texture and consistency of Botanik. It's soft enough to apply without tugging on the skin (even when stored at cooler temps), but not so soft that it's a sticky mess. If I'm having a really active day I definitely reapply before going out for the evening but I expect that from any natural product. I've been using if for about 2 weeks and will continue to use!
