NAOTWomen's Kayla Wedge Sandal

I'm writing this to help others with sizing concerns. . In American sizing I am between a 7.5 and 8 and usually buy a 39 in Naots. I am not a wide but have a narrow heel and a wider toe box. This sandal does not fit for those with my type of dimensions. The toe area was too narrow, last two toes wanted to fall over the side and the heel strap which is not adjustable was way too loose. I would recommend this style for those with a narrow toe box and wider heel area. They were lightweight and had good arch support.

Naot is made by hand in Israel.I love thatI have one pair from 10 years ago that is still in fairly good shape but these are perfection for everyday with capri's, Maxi's, Midi's just about anything because they are so neutral.I find that I stand straighter and am more aligned when I wear these.It is also one of the only sandals that are a size 35 and a true size 4, 4.5Comfortable the moment you put them on!

I ordered an 8.5 (39) when I’m usually 38 (7.5) because of other reviews and they fit perfectly! These are so comfortable! I’ll be using these to walk around Italy a bunch this summer. They are very light in weight and have a medium arch support which is perfect for me. I was a little worried about the heel being excessive, but it really works well and looks very European (convenient for me). The straps are soft and don’t feel like they’ll rub or create problems. I’m very satisfied with this investment!*UPDATE*: 2 years later, I’ve literally worn these around the world now. They are by far the most comfortable sandals (even for cobblestone streets! plus very stable) and I’ve never had an issue of blisters. I wear these almost daily and ~3 years later they are starting to crack a little in the ball of my foot because I often stand on my tiptoes, but they have definitely lasted more than their money’s worth!!

This is my second pair of Naot's Kayla Wedge Sandals. I purchased the Buffalo leather this time around and I have a black pair that t've had for over 3 years. I ordered my regular size and it fits perfectly. Initially, the fit is a bit snug, but after wearing for a few hours, the leather stretches a little and it feels fine. Same with the cork foot bed, the more you wear it, the more it conforms to your foot and the more comfortable it becomes. The strap that goes around the upper arch is adjustable so the sandal stays secure on my feet. The arch support is also perfect; normally I have to wear orthotics, but no worries with Naot shoes and sandals. They are always comfortable. I've worn my sandals for 16-hour days at places like Disneyland without any problems. I highly recommend these sandals!

Love these sandals ... I have several pair and they're the only stylish sandals I have found that really support my feet. I have plantar fasciitis and it is very limiting when you want to look somewhat stylish and your closet is full of orthopedic-type shoes.

I have an un-named problem with my feet. Most shoes make my feet cramp after I take them off. Even highly recommended Birkenstock shoes bothered my feet. THESE shoes are awesome!! They are very comfortable and don’t make my feet cramp. The top strap runs just a little only on my right foot if I wear them all day but that is soooo minor compared to all other sandals I have ever tried.I love these sandals and they work great for me so totally worth the money.

There is nothing narrow about this shoe. When selecting a size when ordering the scroll down menu included 6 and 6 narrow. I always wear a 37 in European sizing so that part is fine. But the Velcro is already attached past half way to keep it secure and the toe straps are gaping. If I were to wear this for any length of time it would stretch and I would be falling out of it. Additionally, for the price I would expect slightly better quality instead of being able to see the glue holding the heel together. I really need a comfortable sandal, and I wish these manufacturers would make something that fits an aged and achy foot that is still on the bony and narrow side.

I bought this while traveling, because I wore my black pair of the same sandal to death! I fell in love with NAOT's light & airiness a year ago, and have worn them every day since. The fit is wonderful and it only took me 2 days to break into these. I recommend them for plantar fasciitis! However... the selling point for me was the shade of red. On Amazon, it's shown as a loud, brighter red than the brownish copper one I received. Usually the fit outweighs the look for me, but being that I could've purchased any other color... I had to minus 2 stars for that.

Slightly tighter across toes at first than another pair of NAOT sandals I have, but loosened up after wearing around house and are now a firm and comfortable fit. NAOT say they are a narrow to medium fit. The semi flexible footbed provides excellent support and moulds to your foot with time. I have yet to use this pair for long distant walking but have worn my other pair for lengthy distances over all sorts of terrain. While not the most elegant of sandals they serve their purpose and this black patent pair gives them a slightly more edgy look. I have given 4 stars rather than 5 because they are not cheap. However, if you want a comfortable and robust walking sandal with some style then I can recommend them.

I have a pair of Kayla nubuck sandals that are probably about 6/7 years old. They are beginning to show their age and I can't wear them in polite society any more! However, although the foot bed is cracked in a couple of places, they are still in fair working order. I bought a new pair so that I could wear them in the said 'polite society'. They are THE MOST comfortable sandals I have ever had. The only downside is that the grip is terrible in wet weather, which is a bit of an issue in Wales. But, then, why would you wear sandals in wet weather in Wales?! My new sandals are brilliant this year (we have a heat wave, which is practically unheard of!). Thoroughly recommend for people who have narrow feet, like mine. Enjoy!

Naot tends to produce shoes for low volume narrow feet and so would it have killed them to make the strap not so long and to let the higher arched people wear the shorter strap.Also, the heel strap is a bit long, which requires the strap to be snug to compensate ... yes, my foot fits the bed of the shoe perfectly and my heel is not deformed.I'm keeping these and ordering black velcro tape to improve the look.

Perfect fit. Excellent sandals, but the colour range could be more extensive.Bottom line: would buy more, with greater range of colours.
