Good Stuff, a bit Pricey
This is good quality mix. It does well for my seed starts and seems to result in more seed germination than other products. It’s not a great value for the money but it is a great product.

Great starter soil
Great for starting plants. I found a lot of potting soils are too hot to start with.

Check the soil for Gnats and too much Perlite.
I have two issues with this product. I have done two auto-flower grows, with this product and both have had germination failures and Fungus gnats. 1- In my bag some of the Perlite was so huge and so much of it the opened seed pod (2 seeds) did not break through. My biggest issue is the fungus gnats! I have been growing for almost 4 years with 12 very successful grows. I bought this product in DEC 24, my January grow had significantly reduced plant size and the leaves showed many symptoms associated with larvae eating the root hairs. I assumed that I was over watering and all the other actions which could be associate with infestation. I narrowed down my belief that it is the starter soil, when I started another grow and had sifted a TON of perlite out and the dirt into a 12x12 tin pan. I was doing this in my enclosed INDOOR work shop so there were NO outside variables. I went to my work shop the next day and I was about to throw the rest of the starter dirt back into the bag - OMG there were 3 Fungus Gnats flying around the soil! where you have one -you will have MANY. The soil was slightly dampened the day before by overspray BUT nothing significant. I'm sure its a good product, I use Fox Farm Ocean and Happy Frog on every grow - Sift and CHECK the starter dirt before using it. I could not get it out of the house fast enough - but still stuck battling the gnats on the current grow. Good Luck.

Amazing! can be dusty though so prepare for a mess!
FoxFarm Light Warrior Grow Medium is a great pick if you want to give your plants a solid start. It’s got a good mix of peat moss, perlite, and other organic stuff that keeps things well-drained and aerated—perfect for seedlings and young plants. Plus, it’s pH balanced so your plants get the nutrients they need.A couple of things to keep in mind: it can be a bit dusty so be prepared for some mess and it tends to dry out quickly so you’ll need to keep an eye on moisture levels. Even with these quirks FoxFarm Light Warrior is still a solid choice for giving your plants the best start.
