Excellent piece of hardware with rich configurability
I finally purchased a dual pack of IP3M-941W and could not be happier.After almost a decade with old IP cam it was finally time to upgrade and expand to multiple rooms.Research took some time - there were plenty of IP cam options out there.However, my requirements were specific:1. 100% functionality without plan or need for cloud storage2. High quality sensor3. US based company I can trust more than 100s of no-name brands out there. Yes, what4. Advanced configuration options in network settings, SNMP, DDNS, alarming and more. Tweakabiltiy is important, asI needed specific functionality with ability to lock down the cam to make sure no one else can access it. Amcrest has plenty of settings I did not even dream of.5. Powerful software and multiple interfaces (web, PC/Mac, mobile device).After near a year of research, this is the only device I found that fits the bill.If you are looking for similar, save yourself some time and look no further. Poor connectivity, customer service, user interface and features
Looked good on the surface however lacks some features that one would think are essential to this type of device. First of all, setting them up is a NIGHTMARE. Their videos online are useless and the user interface is anything but intuitive. I had to find a 3rd party video on my own from another frustrated user just to set them up on my WiFi, and even his camera malfunctioned during his video! After much trial and error, I got them set up, but there are a few things missing:1) if your internet goes down, your cameras go down. Doesn’t matter if they are connected to the same WiFi network as your phone, they can’t communicate. Furthermore, there’s no warning that they disconnected, like there is with Nest. This means if your cameras disconnect in the middle of the night, you don’t know it until you wake up.2) if you have multiple cameras, you can only listen to one at a time. You can see multiple views at once, but only hear one. There is no way to automatically toggle between cameras or even audio feeds. Our $40 baby monitor from Walmart does this. This means any monitoring has to be active, as you won’t know there’s something going on in another room unless you actively select that room.I called customer service to ask about this and they were completely unhelpful. They also wouldn’t let me return my items. So I’ve got $200 worth of security cameras that are effectively useless to me. I can only hope that they update their software with some of these important and essential features so these can be used with some degree of confidence and predictability. Until that happens, one star from me. Go with another brand for now.

Great Camera, great price
We use these at our stables so we can always check our horses. We had bought some other brands but found these to be the most reliable and best video day and night. Our horses are inside stalls so they are not subject to the weather such as rain or other issues. However they are subject to lots of dust and debri due to the hay, horses dander and hair, dirt and spider webs. They have held up great and every so often we go in and remove the spider webs (fun to watch the spiders make their webs!) and any dust that blocks the clearity.

Good quality, but having difficulty with the one we placed outside farthest from our wifi!
We have 4 Amcrest Cameras. Two inside and 2 outside. We love them all, except once we placed the fourth one in the house we started having connectivity issues with the one farthest from our wifi. We had no difficulty with it until we turned on and connected the fourth camera! We just got an additional wifi booster which we will place closer to that camera, and then we will see if it works again! Happy with them until this issue started. We also purchased a one time Security Spy option that allows us to view all cameras at once while we are away. Love this feature. Wish amcrest had this option, too!

Great Customer Service
I started having connectivity issues. I called Amcrest support and Henry helped me through the process! He was knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. Thank you!

No regrets, just what we needed.
These cameras are directly attached via Ethernet cord. We’ve captured a lot of stuff to a pint that neighbors come to us to see if we have footage of accidents. You won’t regret buying these. We used to have WiFi cameras, I prefer these wired ones. More work with installation but worth it for the quality.

Good Camera - Terrible Support (Please read)
The cameras overall are good, image quality, night vision, responsive to PTZ commands, iOS app and ease of configuration. However, the vertical tracking no longer works on one of the cameras. I have been working with support and have been getting the run-around. I bought these cameras as a proof-of-concept for potentially purchasing the larger NVR solution to protect my home. I work in technology and for me, quality of vendor support is a critical part of buying tech. products. I will monitor the open case with Amcrest and update my review based on the outcome, bust so far I will me more than likely looking toward a new vendor for security cameras.I gave the camera 2 stars for their lousy support - Amcrest, you must do better!

Don’t waste your time or money.
JUNK. This is the 2nd time we have gone out of town in a month and can’t access the cameras. Tech support was a total waster of 2 hours and at one point told me if they couldn’t take over my PC there was nothing they could do to help? What? The app is horrible. You delete the app and you lose all the cameras and have to set everything up again. Complete waste of time and money.
