The General 3G Game Camera by Snyper Hunting Products (12MP, Viewing LCD, Connected by AT&T)

I just received this camera 2 days ago. It took a call to Snyper to get it set up. It turned out I had done everything properly, but a snowstorm had shut down the store that handles activating the sim card. So aside from random blizzards, set up was quick and easy. After it was activated the camera began sending photos within a few minutes.We placed it out on a trail and I walked past it to test it. Within 1 minute of me walking past a photo of me arrived on my phone! It has been up for 12 hours and we have already seen game on the camera. The 5 degree temperature doesn't seem to bother it at all.The camera only sends the first photo in the series that it takes to the phone, and it is a lower resolution than those it saves on the sd card. Even so it is as good as the photos I have from some of my other cameras. No more trekking out into the field to find an empty card. Now I know if I have activity.

Camera works great. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE APP. The app locked in some settings that I was trying out. It sent me over 1100 photos in a 20 hour period. I was using it as my front gate camera because I work on the road. It worked perfectly until I downloaded the app and tried out some different settings. I didn’t know it takes several days for the settings to kick in from the time you send it from the app. So when the pics started coming in every min, there was nothing I could because I was over the road. Thank goodness my brother was visiting our mom, he went and reset the settings. After an hour of him resetting it,That still didn’t work, we had to turn off the camera. Going to wait a few days and turn it back on, hopefully it will work properly again. Photo attached shows the activity of just one hour. I should have taken a photo showing the count being over 1100.

Easy for me to set up, i have 2 covert cell cams,very similiar to those. This cam blows covert away in the clarity of pics, even when magnified on the phone. Batteries last longer than my other cell cams i have. I am very pleased with the snyper 3g general cam. Its my opinion, but this cam is better than all other cell cams i have owned, which is 2 other brands.

I have never been able to send pictures to the app - only receive by text message. Six months ago,, even the text message stopped working. In Mar 2020, I returned the camera for repair after speaking with customer service. I had an RMA number. After 3 months, the camera has not been repaired and now I can no longer get in touch with anyone at the company. Maybe they have gone out of business. No matter how good or bad the camera is - not having any customer service is a show stopper. DO NOT BUY THIS COMPANY'S PRODUCTS!

Did not get all the parts ordered! No antenna was with the camera.

I RECEIVED THE GENERAL DAYS AGO AND IT WAS EASY TO SET UP; AND THE PICS ARE AS CLEAR AS CAN BE, TRIGGER SPEED IS FASTER THAN ANY CAM IVE EVER HAD,PLUS YOU CANT BEAT THE PRICE ,THANK YOU

I have four of snyper cameras and only one works, customer service has been really unhelpful to put it nicely.You can tell the product is going downhill when you see the bad reviews totals going up quickly.So at the present time you have a 50-50 chance of this camera working for you.If you decide to go with snyper I wish you good luck, I will spend my money elsewhere. There are new players on the market that look much more promising and knowledgeable about their product.

Customer service is non existent. Bought 7 of these and 5 have stopped working within 4 months. Can’t get someone on the phone to speak with them.
