Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I'm always cold but this heater solved that problem. It's easy to assemble, stays cool on the top sides and back, and the fireplace effect is nice. It has a nice soothing sound that is not too loud.

Item not as described and CS was very rude. Not worth the trouble/expense to return. Description said it covered 1000 ft but insert said 400. Big difference there.

Aesthetically this fireplace heater looks really nice. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be, but fits perfectly in my boyfriends mother’s home so it worked out good. She absolutely loves it!This heater has a remote control which allows you to change the heat setting from high to low. The air blowing out does make some noise, but it is relatively quiet and not irritating at all. More like white noise. The flames are relaxing to watch as well.As far as heat, this heats up a small space pretty good and it heats up quickly!Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase and my boyfriends mother LOVES it. Happy buyer here!

Wow, this fireplace is cute and exactly what I was looking for in a heater/fireplace. Made by Duraflame, which is a very good manufacturer. This fireplace has a lot of options that many others do not have, such as a remote control, choices of flame and heat controls, door opens to get full effect of the heat, and ease of assembly. And above all, cool to the touch! Heat element is at the bottom of the unit. It's lightweight, so it's easy to carry if you want it in another room. What more can you ask for? Oh yes, this one is reasonably priced for the money. And fast shipping, too!

I love the look of this heater and it did a great job of making the house comfortable. I was renting a poorly insulated house and while I don’t know if this would have been able to actually heat the house or not, it was perfect for keeping the house comfortable with the furnace set at a lower temperature. I used it in the living room an open living/dining/kitchen area.

LOVE IT!!! I am amazed at how much heat this little heater throws off. I bought this for my elderly Dad who has poor circulation and is always cold. I also wanted to save on propane bc its more expensive that electric. I have a large living room with high ceilings so I was a bit skeptical when I saw how small it was that it would heat up the room. Within mins the room starts to heat up. I did a lot research looking for one with right amount of BTU'S, a remote was a must so my Dad could easily turn it off and on plus it looks cute.

This is actually second purchase and gifted to a friend who's HVAC is out. (Merry Christmas Charlie!). When they say will heat 1,000 sq ft, they actually mean it with this little bright cheery unit! It's also light weight which is a blessing because Charlie and I both have serious back issues.I'd say you get double bang for the buck with this one.There is another model almost identical except it has a dial to control the temperature and auto shuts off when reached. Not sure if this one auto-shuts off but we were turning it off when we hit a comfort for us.

We love our new heater! The size is perfect. Assembly was easy. The burning ember effect is cool. It will definitely heat a room. My only suggestion is that it needs a thermostat. Once the room reaches a certain temperature, I would like it to maintain that temperature and not keep blowing heat unless the temp drops. Otherwise, a quality product that is well worth the money.
