Bukowski has done it again!
An amazing read. Can be considered semi-autobiographical. Raw and untamed.

Content and quality
I got the books 2 days before the delivery date even during this quarantine. About the book...well I'm really excited to read it. However as mentioned in most of the comments, the quality is a bit poor. But I don't mind much. To those who want to know, this was sold by something like ureadstore. Thank you. P.I read the book at tbh it's kind of different from what I expected. I really liked it but my sister found it okay. It's as they say, "It's Bukowski, you either like it or you hate it." As for me, I loved it

"Book-owski"
Well I was introduced to Bukowski by one of my friends about six months back and since then life hasn't been the same. Charles bukowski is an author who is able to reach deep inside your soul. It is not because Bukowski's works are very complex or mind boggling but due to the ease with which he conveys simple feelings and emotions stored in everyone's heart. Bukowski's work consists of an ordinary man's everyday thoughts and feelings but his greatness lies in the ease with which he puts these feelings into words. It all started with a few of Bukowski's quotations and since then he hasn't left my head. A brutally honest writer and a true great. In "Ham on Rye" Bukowski narrates the incidents of his acne ridden childhood and the difference of opinion with his father and it can be seen how his childhood shaped his life and his literary career. A must read. I'd suggest you people to also read some of his other works such as "Post Office" and "Women".

Nostalgic AF
Loved this book from start to finish. Took me back to my childhood. Reminded me of my childhood comprising of euphoric highs and depressive lows. Couldn’t put it down once I started.

Worth reading but quality not worth the cost.
The book is good. I loved the stories on charles bukowski . The stories of his childhood. Small stories small stuff butin most meaning way. I like the way it is making me feel. Completely free n fearless. The only reason i gave it three star is the print isnt good . The cover is seems old and the paper is of poor quality.. i didnt return it bcoz i would wait for another copy to come. I execpted it to be good as it is not much cheap like other novels on amazon (i bought it for 350rs )

Worth the money.
It's Bukowski. You either love him or hate him. His oeuvre is simplistic yet profound. His writings aren't sesquipedalian yet the range of emotions they produce in the reader are unquantifiable.

This is undoubtedly the best bukowski 's romance.Extremely sad, dirty and brilliant at the same time.A picture of the feelings of a poor and unlucky man, who simply wanted to be like the same golden boy he always hated.

Genuss pur!
