very nice
I received them several days earlier than the estimated time, that is really nice. I read the reviews and ordered an 11 size, I normally take a 10 or 10 1/2, the size is just right, Thank You to those who suggested a larger size.I think these slippers are almost perfect, they are warm, they breath so my feet don't sweat, they stay on my feet while walking around, and are made well enough to wear outside to feed the dog or get something out of the car, I'm not sure though how they would be if walking through wet grass because of the outside material (maybe spraying then with some Scotch-Brite would work), all in all I recommend these and will certainly order another pair when necessary. The free fast shipping is excellent too.Edit on this purchase: After reading the comments I ordered a larger size but after a short while of wearing them they do stretch. Because they are so comfortable and wear so well I will be buying these again when I need too but I will order my correct shoe size, that is my experience. They are wearing quite well, I have been wearing them everyday around the house and outside for almost three months and they still look new.11-22-2015 I just bought my third pair of these I like them so much and wear them whenever I am home. Again, I ordered my regular shoe size which is what I recommend, they will quickly stretch to accommodate foot size, that is my experience.

Good product, sized too small
I got these for brief winter trips outside the house, mostly to/from my garage/car. I haven't had them long, but I do like the taller ankle height and the fleece lining. They are comfortable and warm, the rubberized sole works well indoors and out.Like many others have said, this product runs 1-2 sizes smaller and narrow. I wear a 9 regular, so I bought a 10 wide. Length is OK, width is OK, but could be wider. They are hard to put on initially, but I can see where they will stretch to a comfortable fit. The top opening is tight so I avoid using the pull tab as others have reported this pulls off easily. I imagine a person could cut a couple stitches down the top/front, and reinforce with a couple Heavy duty stiches if needed.

so of course slippers seem like a good solution
I needed something to wear around the house, so of course slippers seem like a good solution. Reviewers suggested that you should buy a size or two up from what you normally wear, and I can see what they were saying, but it doesn't seem that drastic.I normally wear a 9.5-10, and I bought the 11's. They are a LITTLE too big on me. They still stay on my feet and keep them warm, but I think the 10's would have been just fine. Ideally I think purchasing a pair that are a half-size up is the most I should have done.Aesthetically, I do like the looks of the slippers, and they wear well and keep my feet warm. Not much more I could ask for since that's the chief purpose.I took off one star partially for the fitting issues (which do need to be addressed) and partially because of the material used. These are inexpensive slippers, and I certainly get that, but the lining of the slippers are a little rougher than I would like for fluffy slippers. Not too rough or uncomfortable, but certainly not pampered ultra-soft material.Just an observation.

Nice and Warm
These replaced moccasin-style slippers, and so come up much higher on the heel. This made them a bit hard to get on at first, but soon I was able to slip them on while standing if I wasn't wearing socks, and, more recently, they are nearly slipping on easily when I am wearing socks. No doubt this will continue to improve.Once the slipper is on it is clear that it fits exactly. No pinching, no extra space. 12M in Red Wing is 12M here as well.I'm not really sure about the arch support; if the description says "none", then "none" it is. Otherwise, it certainly isn't prominent. They are warm enough for me so far. It hasn't gotten really cold here yet.I've only had them a month, so durability is hard to judge. So far, so good.

Like others said, order AT LEAST one size larger than you normally wear
I normally wear a size 13 1/2 shoe but because 13 1/2 is not a valid size I wear a 14 which fits comfortably if I wear a thicker sock. My old slippers were Dearfoam size 13m and for whatever reason they fit just fine. Going off that I ordered these Tamarac slippers in a size 14W(others have stated they run on the small size), unfortunately even these were too short(width OK). I'm going to try and exchange these for a 15w and I'll report back.I've NEVER warn a size 15 but I guess in this brand/style it may be necessary.BTW the slippers seem to be very nicely made, just cut small. Oh and as some others have reported it's kind of hard to get the top of my ankle inside the shoe(opening cut too short) but I think with a bit of use they'll stretch and be just fine.I'd probably rate them 5 stars except for the screwy sizing.UPDATE: The 15w's! fit OK, none too wide nor long, just OK. My main issue with them is the heal. If I take normal(not short) strides and land on my heal(and not the ball of my foot) it hurts because I land on the back ridge of the rubber bottom(very uncomfortable!). If I purposely take short strides it's OK and otherwise they are decent slippers but for $35 I expect more, I'll return these also(I'll have to pay shipping again, another $6 down the toilet :(Oh I get my foot inside these without too much stretching but again none too easy, this brand is cut just too small IMO.Lastly changing my rating to a 3 star, they are OK but not much better.
