Garbage! Avoid! See my pictures
I bought one and so was impressed with it that I bought two more. I wish I had waited and not gone by first impressions. After a month of normal use, the backside it peeling. Turns out this strap from Iconic Leather contains very little actual leather. Other brands offer full leather for less. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY this strap.

This Is The One
Okay I don’t do this too often but I gotta give a review to this product. I just got it today but my expectations are far exceeded! I even called a buddy and sent him the link.I have been looking at every strap I see in the shops and nothing has seemed like very good quality unless it was ridiculously priced and even then nothing felt like “The One.” I found this and thought I would chance it since Amazon is good about returns. I’m blown away! Very well made. Very soft leather and padding. It really makes my bass feel lighter. If you’re on the fence just but it! I plan to buy another for my other bass. It’s the kind of strap that you want on your baby! (Sorry, too many things there but you know what I mean!)Keep up the good work Iconic and please keep these in stock Amazon. I don’t intend to stop buying basses. I am going to need more of these!

Affordable & Comfortable
I have a couple of heavy guitars (Les Paul, Line 6 JTV-59 and a bass) that really start to hurt my back and shoulder after about 30-40 minutes. I've tried several guitar store straps and haven't had any luck. Some were wide and some were padded/rubber/elastic and they just didn't work. This one actually helps. I put it on my JTV-59 and played for an hour and had ZERO pain. I probably could have practiced longer, but ran out of time. The strap appears to be well made and has leather ends, but I'm not sure that the outside is all genuine leather. I suspect that most of the strap is made from man-made material with leather ends and some sort of padding material inside. As long as it is sturdy, comfortable and does what it's supposed to do, I'm ok with that construction. I also didn't have any issues with it slipping on my shoulder. It stayed right where I put it, although none of the guitars that I used it on neck dive anyway. Some folks seem to have an issue adjusting the strap and saying that it is too long or too short. I'm 5'9" and have no issues adjusting the strap to the standard guitar teaching position (arms bent at elbows). This is the way that I adjust it and other folks may have additional methods. The trick is to weave the short piece of the strap back and forth through the slots in the big piece of the strap. I start at the top slot and thread the short piece through the big strap and back through itself and then just weave it back and forth through the remaining slots. This is the trick to take up the slack and makes it the perfect length for me. To make it even shorter, loop the small strap through one of the slots down further on the big strap, then loop it up through the top slot then to the first free slot below where you started and then weave back down through the slots on the big strap as before. If you try this, you may find that you can fit it exactly where you want. I've added some pictures that may be helpful.

Like a football shoulder pad for your bass!
This is a really nice strap. I've been using the Franklin Padded Glove Leather straps ($70), and will continue to use them, as they are heirloom quality, comfortable straps. The Iconic Leathers strap is very comparable to the Franklin strap. Clean looks, quality leather, thick padding. The back of this strap is soft leather, and grips your shoulder well. The strap appears to be well-made. It is not quite as "finished" as the Franklin strap. Does this affect performance? No. I'm playing a Stingray bass with it, and it works just fine. The heavy bass doesn't dig in to my bony shoulder, the strap looks nice on the bass, and I saved around $30.

Strap Is Great but Guitar Still Heavy
I bought this strap because the reviews indicated it was comfortable, and it is. In fact, it's the most comfortable strap I've ever owned. It's also very well made and I'm sure it will last a long time. I read the comments that said it made the guitar feel lighter, so I put it on a Les Paul Custom, by far my heaviest guitar. Well, the guitar is still heavy. But seriously, buy this strap - you'll like it.

Great strap at a great price!
This strap is amazing. I've wanted a nice leather strap forever but they were always too expensive for me. This feels like a $100.00 strap to me. It adjusts well, has very thick ends and should last a long time. It's plain and very understated but goes perfectly with my Tribute T honey burst Les Paul. Those guitars can be heavy but I can play for hours with this strap and never experience any shoulder or neck fatigue. I plan to get a couple more of them for some other guitars that I have. I Think it's well worth the money!

Very good, comfortable strap.
This leather strap is good value, all around. It's of at least a decent quality, the material is very soft to the touch, and should not scratch your guitar or bass finish.I bought it because I needed a wide strap for my weighty bass, as the cheap strap I bought was narrow and dug into my shoulder. I recommend this strap for those beginning on the bass or those looking for more comfort holding their heavy instrument. With proper care I would expect this strap to last a lifetime.

So far, a very comfortable strap!
I was tired of using the basic cloth straps for bass. My Sire V7 came with it's own leather strap, wider, but not padded. After a few practices with this strap, I am not putting the original strap back on. Very comfortable, holds the bass nicely, no issues with aches or pains afterwards after practice. I also tried it on my other 2 basses (couldn't try it on the Warlock since i'd have to flip the straplocks around) and felt easier to play. Not sure why I waited this long to try a strap like this, but glad i got one.
