I absolutely loved Reese! He was a great guy from beginning to end. Reese happens to be a defense lawyer and Cat is an attorney (non-practicing) and a well-respected journalist. This story has a little of everything in the way of feelings. There is also suspense and plenty of passion between these two. Cat only believes in one-night stands because of her past. However, things happen and feelings get involved. I am eagerly looking forward to reading more books by this author.

(ebook+audiobook) It was nothing I was expecting. Sure, I got the one night stand turned instalove between an alpha lawyer and a strong willed woman. But it was a lot more than that.First of all, there’s a real romantic suspense aspect. The trial that starts it all isn’t just a background element, and it’s full of twists and turns. Reese even plays some kind of detective, as it’s a murder trial and he’s looking for the real killer. It’s also an important part of the love story. It defines the relationship between Reese and Cat, mixing the personal with the professional on various levels. It’s also a big step in both their careers, and their professions play a role in their relationship, sometimes hindering it, sometimes helping them connect.Also, family dramas are predominant. They’re the reasons for their hang ups regarding relationships and love. They explain most of their actions and decisions. Later in the book, they also become a huge plot point and bring troubles between Cat and Reese. I loved that, for once, it was a common decision, not a case of one of them choosing to break up for another stupid reason. In a way, once they overcome all their hang ups, Cat and Reese are unbreakable.Maybe the story is a bit soap opera like, with more things happening every time you think it’ll go smoothly.But was it steamy! Cat and Reese are explosive together. They’re adventurous and I liked that. The one night stand deal sure seemed like a good idea at first. I was happy there was feelings–though they appeared quite fast–but it didn’t look stupid that they denied it for some time. Hard to distinguish the love behind all that lust and chemistry.Both narrators are favorite, so I was happy with their performance. But I have to admit that I felt the female narrator did a better job with Reese than the male narrator. In my opinion, there were more feelings and emotions in her voice. It still was a very good audiobook, for a tumultuous and compelling love story.

It's no secret that I'm a HUGE fan of Lisa Renee Jones. And this is the book that started that love affair. I read it years ago, and have never been disappointed in any of her books that I've read since then.Cat and Reese are the ultimate couple. The sparks fly when they are together. Cat comes from a dysfunctional family, doesn't trust very easily because of that. Especially attorneys. But Reese doesn't back away, he takes her wall down brick by brick. He proves to her what love and loyalty look like. And you have a mystery/courtroom drama also!The writing is superb, the plot very engaging, the dialogue between the characters is exceptional.I HIGHLY recommend this book, and the rest of the books in this series. Hell, I recommend any book that Ms. Jones has written!

Reese and Cat meet in a coffee shop when he tries to jump the line. She tells him off and doesn’t care if he handsome but to wait like everyone else! They end up seeing each in court as he’s a prosecutor in a trial and she’s the journalist covering it. But he sees her and is intrigued as he’s used to getting what he wants and she’s not falling like everyone else. He asks her out and they seem to have things in common. I loved everything about this book. It pulled me in from the very beginning. Wow, Reese could be my book boyfriend any time. Cat and Reese are both strong people with strong personalities. What I loved most was there was no angst at all. That was a great change of pace. Read it, you won't be disappointed.

Cat and Reese's story totally captivated me. From the way they met to the passion, suspense, and crazy twists and turns of their relationship this is a page turning read. Dirty Rich One Night Stand is book one and a great start to the Dirty Rich series. I don't know how I missed this series by the author but I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

I enjoyed this story much! There was suspense, passion, and a sultry tale!This novel contains more twists and turns than a roller coaster ride, and Cat and Reese's sexual relationship is the climax of this heart-pounding trip. This energetic duo has some unexpected turns of events, but they are believable.I definitely recommend this book.

This novel is sheer brilliance. There is no respite from beginning to end. It's an absolute gem!Reese is a powerful criminal lawyer. He is sex on legs and has earned the title of Mr Hotness! He goes after what he wants and doesn't lose.Cat has walked away from the family tradition of being a lawyer to do something that she really enjoys. A crime reporter and author.He is the defense lawyer for the crime of the century whilst she attends the courtroom to report and give her thoughts on the procedure. She is fair and brilliant at what she does. He owns the courtroom!The first time that Cat runs into Reese, she is not at all impressed with his attitude and gives him a piece of her mind and the fun begins. The attraction between them is magnetic, but Cat likes her solitary life. She has been burned and having a repeat is the last thing that she needs. She is impressed by his performance in court and roots for him. She believes in the justice system! He is intrigued by her and wishes to explore this inarguable attraction. Their interactions are full of banters and challenges become their "thing".It's a fascinating story where the court case is mesmerising. The love story is hot and heartfelt at the same time. The plot is magnificent. Cat and Reese both have high morales and principles. They make the perfect couple. The presence of the Walkers is a welcome inclusion. I love the whole thing and will quite happily read again. Beautifully portrayed!I was kindly issued with an eARC and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

Cat and Reese have the kind of chemistry people dream about. Their first meeting isn't great, but the attraction is undeniable. Can they work through all the issues trying to push them apart together and stay together???Expect drama, family issues and steamy scenes along the way! Absolutely loved their story and can't wait to read the rest of the series. Reese meets Cat in a coffee shop where she tells him off for trying to cue jump. She doesn't know who he is until she's sat as a reporter and he's the prosecutor. There is a definite attraction and Reese is not shy in persuing her even though it's a big trial. He's never met any one like her and its not long before she is the first women to enter his home. She helps him with his work having been a lawyer. It's a well written story.

What a pleasure it was to read this book. I devoured it in one sitting. When we meet Reese he is a hot shot Defense Attorney who is defending a man accused of Murder and Cat is reporting the case from the courtroom. When Cat first meets Reese in the Coffee shop, and he pushes in front of her, Cat tells him off and the fact that he was hot, and she recognised him from the courtroom did not deter her. From that point onwards Reece begins to notice her. The only thing Cat wants from him for is A One and Done or a One Night Stand. As always there more going on than a straight love story. What starts out as Hot sex soon becomes love and mutual respect for each other. You can always feel the emotions coming through the pageWhat I love about the female leads in Lisa’s books is that they are intelligent and able to stand on their own feet. Reese is not the arrogant A-hole we think he is at the beginning, and they fell hard for each other. They also have a murder to solve. All the ingredients from great story we have come to expect from Lisa Renee Jones.If you haven’t read a Lisa Renee Jones this is a great one to start with as it is a Standalone. If you are already a fan then this is a must read

It has honestly been so long since I have read a book that I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. Cat and Reese were great characters individually and together. This author had a lovely writing style that pulled me in from the first page. I would happily read more from her.
