I like almost everything that comes with the set except for the wooden car toy. The wooden toy may not be appropriate for a baby since the baby may accidentally roll or bang on it. I wish the wood is replaced by medical grade silicone. If it is for my baby I will use this toy only as decor and wait until reaches the end of the toddler or before the preschool year.The manufacturer printed the following outside the box.1.) BPA Free2.) FDA3.) EN714.) CEThis means that this product is safe for the baby since there is no Bisphenol-A. I am wondering if this product really got FDA approval. FDA only regulates baby formula, baby cosmetics (such as baby lotions), food, medical devices, and electronics that emit radiation. Baby toys, cribs, and mechanical hazards are tested and approved by CPSC. The European counterpart of the US CPSC is EN71. CE is a European certification which means that the product met EU safety, health, and environmental protection requirements.Note: The US FDA is very strict in the illegal use of the FDA mark.Safe for the baby as per the manufacturer. I'm primarily satisfied with this gift set, but I'm a little disappointed, too. Sadly, half of the soft bristles on the baby's brush were crushed to one side. I think I've found a way to restore them to their natural form, but I wouldn't want it looking this way had I been gifting this set.The rest of the items seem very solid, although I've noticed that the elephants on the socks are not sewn in. Granted, they are glued on, but I'm uncertain as to how secure they actually are. I have tugged on them, and they have not come off, but still, it's something to watch out for.My favorite piece is the elephant rattle. It's adorably cute and very secure for a baby to play with. I raise a slight concern with the wooden truck. It's possible that if the wheels came off by chance, it could be a potential choking hazard. Honestly, it's solid for the most part, but you never know. The blanket is made of soft cotton and is machine washable.This set is small and compact. It's great for gifting parents still in the hospital after their baby has been born, for babyshowers, or for welcoming a new bundle into your home.

This set is so cute and easily giftable to someone! Everything seems to be good quality except for the brush. The socks are adorable and do have grips on the bottom of them. The swaddle blanket is lightweight and so soft. The bristles on the brush were all bent to the side as it was pressed into the package. The bristles are very soft and would be nice to use on a baby but they don’t seem to be going back into place. The rattle is so cute but it’s difficult to keep clean. The wheels on the wooden truck move. Everything is really cute and would recommend this set.

This is a very cute set for an expectant mom, especially when the sex is unknown. The little cotton blanket and socks are adorable, and the elephant rattle is cute, although I'm not sure the knitted material is ideal for newborns. The little brush has soft bristles that are perfect for infants, and the sign is cute for pictures. Overall, I'm very pleased with this set.
