Sun Tzu's Art of War & Machiavelli's Prince: Two Great Works in One Book

Not great production value
Obviously, the material has been in the public domain for generations. So what one is buying here is the production. I have read several books produced by a publisher that does not name itself but the last page of whose books says "Made in U.S.A. Columbia, SC [date]." While the paper and binding they use are good, I wish the people at that house would employ someone to do even rudimentary editing. Even a glance at a page would reveal spaces that do not belong and inconsistencies in numbering (a Roman numeral followed by an Arabic numeral for some lists, not for others). There are typos (heading instead of heeding, sincerely instead of sincerity). My advice is to pay $2 more and get a better edition from a publisher that does some semblance of editing and page set-up.

A battle guide of epic proportions. I've never read "Art of War," until now. It's no wonder this book has lasted through the ages. It is a practical guide into warfare. I am not a seasoned soldier, but I feel that anyone who is, can learn from this book. The illustrations added quite a bit to the story line as well. From the very first chapter I was riveted. The author goes into such great detail when describing exactly what to do in any given wartime situation. This book is thirteen chapters of highly charged fighting techniques. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a warriors look into the frontlines.

Half of the book!
I had been meaning to read The Art of War for a long time. The 1910 translation is better than I expected, and is well organized. The ancient Chinese general was brilliant. However, for about $2.60, I ordered a Kindle volume that contains The Art of War AND The Prince. The second classic short book could could not be found in what I received. Hence the dropped star.

Classic writings on the art of war and of manipulation
I read history and have served in the military during war, so I appreciate these clear-cut thoughts about winning. In essence most of these thoughts are valid in daily life. It is sometimes a question of how ruthless one wants to be. I consider them superior works.

Great Deal for a Physical Copy of Two Classics
It is both of the titles books under one cover.I bought this for use in my Military History class (open book exams; physical copies only) and was not disappointed other than by my own failure to read each book completely before the exams.I found no issues with the physical quality of the book and it’s pages.

These have always been in my top ten favorite books most of my life and I'm so happy to have them together! I have both in hard back but this is good for travel and ease of read. Most publishings of these tomes have annoying analysis and commentary on the context and can make them a pain to enjoy.. None of that in this version! Just the sage advice from the masters Sun Tzu and Machiavelli as it should be to draw your own personal conclusians.

Great to have both of these classics in one place.
As important a read as Zig Zeigler's 'How to Win Friends...' Just buy it and contemplate your business and personal future. :)

Get what you pay for
Was excited for the value but disappointed with number of grammatical and spelling errors to the point it is hard to read.

Expected low quality print
This is an extremely low quality print, but that was what I expected and served my purpose to have rough copies of both books to not on. Don't buy if you want a long lasting beautiful copy for your bookshelf.

THIS IS NOT THE FULL BOOK
This is the biggest waste of money ever. its pretty much one chapter for both book written in the ugliest handwriting. it feels like its written for eighth grades or people who have problems seeing. don't recommend.

Hard to understand
Even though the book is great, it's really hard to understand what the author is trying to say. You really have to push yourself to stay focused to really comprehend what is going on.

Great
Two classics packaged into one paperback. What more needs to be said?
