No light leaking thru. Soft material. I like the adjustable strap. My previous mask had velcro which was okay IF I had hair on my head. It meets all my requirements.

I bought a mask at my doctor’s request. My eye was being inflamed for opening at night. The size of the mask can be adjusted. It took me a few times to find the comfort zone so my eyes remained closed. Because of the sensitivity of my eyes, I wanted a natural fiber. Silk was perfect. I washed it by hand one side at each time and matted it dry. I did not want to destroy the filling because this is not expensive silk, and it is made in China. So far, very good and comfortable.

I recently embarked on a journey to test four different eyemasks, trying to find the perfect one for a 48-hour airplane voyage. Of the ones I tested, this was my third favorite, and the best of the silk eyemasks. This is also the most affordable of the four, and I think it's a great value purchase, particularly if a tiny bit of light leakage doesn't bother you.The material is quite comfortable; the silk is very smooth and luxurious, and the eyemask is nicely padded. It arrived without any weird creases or kinks in the silk. The elastic strap on the back is a high quality no-snag elastic, wide and somewhat reminiscent of a nicer bra strap with similar hardware allowing for adjustability, which was greatly appreciated.The fit of this is pretty snug, and it does press against your eyes, which may or may not be a concern for you. It's not my favorite sensation, defeating some of the purpose of the silk, but it was usable for me. I could potentially see the strap adjusters being a consideration for some users, but I felt them to be comfortable.The main reason I deducted a star is that the light blocking ability of this isn't perfect. It fared a _lot_ better than the other silk eyemask I tested, with a COB flashlight only slightly showing through, but this still translates to a small amount of light being visible through the mask if you're in a very bright environment. The bigger issue is the nose design, which didn't seal very well against my face shape, allowing a large amount of light to leak in from the bottom.Some of the other masks I tested had a nose flap or other feature designed to seal in that area, and that would have really made all the difference here. Alternatively, a slightly more severe cut design in the nose area might have helped it nestle closer to my face.If you're looking specifically for a silk eyemask, or if you want one that's a great value, this is an excellent choice. It got me through a nighttime flight on a Boeing 787 when the windows were locked out to modest dimming perfectly well, and I found it comfortable. But if you need something for a worst-case flight through bright sunlight where some genius is opening and shutting a windowshade every five minutes, this isn't quite enough light blocking for that scenario.

Very soft material.You can not even feel it when you have it on at night.

Used this on my road trip and it's awesome! Super soft and blacked out everything. I slept like a baby.

I was honestly shocked at how good this was given the low price. Super soft silk and nice soft stuffing - as good as my lily silk mask. Very comfortable and nice wide head band elastic.Ordering more!!!

I have successfully used several sleeping masks before. This mask feels a bit scratchy, puts pressure on my eyes and irritates them. So I can't use it. Is this truly 100% silk as it claims to be?
