thought they would get bigger but I just used more of them

They were actually pretty small would prefer bigger beads.

Purchased for holiday decorations. Arrived before expected and worked well. Package contained no instructions so ended up with too many beads after using 1/4 cup dry beads. So many came in the package I’ll be able to use them for other fun projects.

When I purchased the water beads, I thought I was buying clear glass pebbles. To my surprise I got a package of very small beads. So I googled them and learned what a water bead is! I decided to keep them because they were so cool. I wanted something special to put on the tables for my husband's 70th birthday party. I decided to put waterproof fairy lights in a mason jar filled with the water beads and silver star confetti taping the light battery pack to the underneath of the lid. It worked great and I got so many compliments on them. In fact, I had a few left over water beads and our guest had a blast bouncing them. Everyone loved them!

This product is a great value for the money. HOWEVER, if you are going for the cheapest”invisible” floating look this will NOT work unless you fill it and use it right away. The beads will continue to absorb water forever as far as I am concerned. They continue to get larger and larger. They only need a few hours to grow so don’t fill them days in advance like me. 😂. However it’s been three weeks since the event and the beads are still holding water.
