A really useful product. My wife is under 5 foot tall and has to sit almost touching the steering wheel. She literally couldn't drive without it in full sun.

There are more expensive versions of this, but they are clearly just the same product apart from having a slightly modified mould to add a company name onto it.Some reviews talk about difficulty in removing sticky protective films from the surface, but there was no such problem with the one sent to me. Another review refers to it snapping at a hinge, and that's easy to believe: I initially thought there was a ratchet in it at one side, but it's actually just high friction generating the clicking, and it's easy to imagine it breaking if you don't know to be careful with it because when it sticks it bends the plastic alarmingly. Applying a tiny amount of Vasoline on the end of a pin removed the worst of this problem, but too much might lead to the thing swinging down when you don't want it to, so when I say a tiny amount, I mean a really tiny amount: the smallest amount that you can see. You can always add tiny amounts more, but it may be hard to remove if you add too much.The darker part that slides along the visor is little more than a gimmick, but you could probably find a way to remove it if you find it annoying. The actual visor is optically good, but try to minimise touching it if you want it to remain so - plastic scratches easily, so if it needs cleaning, do it by running it under a tap.

Speedy delivery and good quality.It has made a big difference. Can now see without being blinded by the sun. Great.

Those sun miserable is easy to use just clips on to the sun viser had to take the extra square of plastic off it as it distorts vision worth the money protects your eyes

I have bought this product for presents several times having first bought one for myself. It clips easily to the cars visor and tucks away neatly when not In use. Cuts out the harsh glare of sunshine with a small sliding area for intense glare. Perfect solution you can see through it but like sunglasses can drive without being blinded by the sun.

Great in theory but once the sun set and the sun shield no longer wanted it kept slipping back down across my view of the road

This is so good for glare when dark and the sun daytime when it's very low. Very happy.

Shame this item appeared to have been a return to supplier, as box was damaged and there was no protective film to remove from the visor luckily there was no damage or scratches and the visor works and is well fitting
