Good product. Pretty heavy duty. I only wish that the manufacturer included this item along with the actual filter system. I don't see how their product could be installed without this support. Once water enters the bowl, it will get relatively heavy and put a lot of stress on the water pipes (which are designed to carry water, not support a filter system).

did what it should, had to buy screws for concrete as my water inlet to the home is in the basement, so only 4 stars.... should include a concrete screw instead as they could still be driven into wood if a consumer need them for that.... cant drive wood screws into concrete though... 4/5 stars

came with just 4 screws to mount the plate to the filter housing cap. Hardware to mount the plate to wall should be found at any hardware store fairly inexpensively. This will be site specific, so it wouldn't make sense to provide mounting hardware. Good thick metal plate which should provide years of sturdy support.

When I first put the 950A in, I stacked stuff underneath it for support. I custom made a bracket out of a heavy duty shelf bracket, drilled some new holes in the bracket and mounted the filter to it and the wall. That worked just fine until I left the filter on a little too long. The problem with these big blues is that it is not easy to remove the cartridge base, a lot of torque is required.I was afraid of shattering the plastic pipe so I had a neighbor come by to hold on to the bracket. Long story short, I thought there must be something out there that is made for this.Thank you Amazon. Sometimes you just make life a bit easier.Heavily made, cutouts for the pressure release, four lag bolts that are the correct depth for mounting big blue, just perfect.

I puzzled over how to mount that huge sediment filter I got for the new well until I saw there was a ready made one. It is solid and the fit is perfect. The only thing I would add is pre drilled holes in the middle for mounting on a stud.

for my application, I would have had to build a wood frame then mount this bracket to it, and found it was unnecessary. I am goiing to return it.

The only negative thing about this bracket was that the lag bolts included to mount it to my filter weren't threaded the same but they tightened down with just a little issue and are nice and snug.
